I have an Idea that may be good or bad. At the game in Here in Germany, I was thinking we could by US Flags and represent by putting the state we are from on them and hang them in our section, a lot like other countries do. Is this a good Idea or bad idea?

Don't write on a US flag...representing your hometown/state is a great idea but do it buy making a banner, bringing a state or city flag, or using a different flag such as the First Navy Jack (http://www.sevenbros.com/images/Flagtreadred.jpg)

the stars and stripes is worth more to us than the english flag is worth to them, thats why they write on it.

The main problem with writing on our flag is that it's a busy design. It just really wouldn't work visually because there aren't enough big patches of similar colored material.

That's one reason, but the real main problem is that it's disrespectful to write on the flag.

Do what I did. Make an "Uncle Sam's Flag" (bastard version of England's St. George's Cross)
Upper Left, Lower Right, US flag
Upper Right, Lower Left, state flag
Small white cross between them.
Looks real slick, and if you stick with 2x3 flags you'll finish up with a flag easy to pack and hang off of most railing. Or you can do what I did, and buy 5x7 flags. Just hope for access to the upper deck!

well i write on the margin of the flag that holds the pole , i write the games that i have attended with that flag . But yeah , dont write on the flag itself .
