View Full Version : 2006 Membership Cards Are on the Way

2006 Screaming Eagles ID cards and renewal gifts for everyone who renewed by March 10 are going in the mail tonight! So unless you live in Outer Mongolia, there's a good chance that yours will arrive in time for opening day.

If you renewed after March 10, your card will be coming in the next few weeks, but it may not get there by April 2. (Never fear: we'll have lists of current members at the ticket booth and the tailgate on opening day, so we can check and see whether you've renewed even if you haven't gotten your card yet.)

Another volunteer is mailing the ID cards and welcome gifts for new members, so they may be on a slightly different schedule. But we're aiming to get these to as many of you as possible by opening day.

If you haven't renewed yet, return the form you got in the mail as soon as possible. If you'd like to join for the first time, go to http://www.screaming-eagles.com/membership.html and use the printable form.

I sent my money over paypal today. I guess I was a week too late. No worries, I have 0% chance of getting up to DC for opening night anyway.

Your card may not come by opening day, but you might well have it in time for the second game, on April 8. With our current set-up, payments by PayPal get handled much faster than payments that are mailed to the P.O. box. (A vounteer who lives nearby checks the box every few days and then sends the membership forms to me.)

As a general rule, people who renew by Paypal are likely to get their cards within two weeks. People who renew by mail or new members can expect a turnaround of about three to four weeks.

I've gotten my new card, but my g/f has not and we live at the same address and signed up at the same time when the annual meeting was held... Any word why I got mine, but my g/f's has not shown up yet?

Send an email to membership@screaming-eagles.com Please keep in mind that we have over 200 to make and mail and it's a 1 person operation so it's being done in batches.

Cards are cranked out in batches and should go out in about 2 weeks from when you joined (could be sooner or later if you're a newbie, someone else does that mailing). We will have lists at the membership table at the tailgate so check in and we can give you a temporary card or sticker for the day so you can participate in the tgate.
