Saw this on another forum. If you don't know about it, i think it's something referees would find interesting. It's about the three match series played by Celtic and Racing of Argentina for the World Club (Intercontinental) Championship in 1967.

Warning: it's 28 minutes (and 22MB) long. You'll have to turn off the TV for half an hour to watch (i'd recommend increasing the video size).
Second Warning: Rather Violent Content, but no more than you'll see on the 5 o'clock news. If you're a Celtic fan, you may want to watch your blood pressure.

By the way, i don't think the red card was invented at this point, so the ejections were done verbally. The video was on Celtic TV, so realise that there is going to be a bias. In any case, there are a lot of lessons in man-management in this video from a refereeing standpoint. I don't really know what i could have done differently, or if i would have been capable of preventing a situation like this, but i would imagine the standard of refereeing nowadays is a lot higher than it was back then. I don't know exactly what this referee did, but i definitely would have slowed the game down significantly, and issued plenty of cautions for USB (without the card, of course). I might have even abandoned that third one, but probably not.

I also have this video on my hard drive, so if anyone wants a copy for themselves (or if they don't want to stream something that large), PM me i suppose. Alternatively you can copy it out of your Temporary Internet Files once it's streamed (C:\Documents and Settings\[your name]\Local Settings\Temporary Internet Files\ for IE and Firefox in Windows XP. In most cases, you have to manually type "Local Settings" into the address bar. The file name is d7-31107490540.wmv, on my computer anyway)
