That's why we're having a neighborhood party at our house! St. Paddy's is probably my favorite holiday, so there is no way I'm missing any fun.
We don't have cool neighbors (bunch of fuddy duddies......) so no neigborhood party for us.....at least I will get to hang out with my 2 favorite guys tonight! :)

Are you in DC today or in Philly? If it's the latter, you must stop by Tir Na Nog!

Pick up some beads with the Irish flag on them, and your liable to be publicly fondled in a very inappropriate way by a sweet Irish lass. At least that's been my experience.

One thing I am bumming about today is the fact that I'm not going to get any of my ex's mom's Irish soda bread. That stuff is so great. She'd make me a loaf every year, and I'd have it for breakfast everyday for the rest of the week!

Leigh is making up for the party the following:

Guinness Stew
Shepherds Pie

and Irish Soda Bread!!!

I've also got a fridge full of Harp and Guinness, a big bottle of Bushmills, a bottle of Jameson's, friends are bringing cheese and crackers, shamrock cookies, and all kinds of other stuff.

Last night I hung some Shamrock lights, and I've got some signs and other decorations plus green plastic bowler hats. Green cups, plates, bowls, flatware, and mini green beer mugs that are just the right size for shots! Also, we'll have Irish music piped through the new outdoor speakers. I go a bit overboard at times when having a theme party!:o :D

I seriously can't wait to get out of here. It's a damn shame that we've got this meeting at 1.

Go with the Celtic. I've got my 1950's era Irish National Rugby Team shirt, my shamrock glasses and my Ireland football scarf.

Well horizontal stripes don't do much for anybody but it is in the spirit of the day so "do it do it"! ;)

I was thinking about an Irish kit, but I'm not Irish nor would I typically wear the kit as I'm English and Scottish. Therefore, I'm just wearing a regular green shirt. Don't want to be like the dumb frat boy I saw last year with one who had no clue about footie but still wearing the jersey mom bought on a trip just so he looks cool.
