And they'll get it right back once you start driving. ;)
In all seriousness though, I'm sick of people bitching about the price of gas. Oh no, the price is so high, its going to cost them an extra 15 bucks this week. They might not be able to get that $4 Starbucks nonfat mochafrappuwhothehellcares every morning because they have to fill up their maga-super-XL SUV which can tow a freakin' house.
But that's for another thread.

How about those who complain because of gas prices because it actually is alarmingly ridiculous, who don't spend $4 on starbucks?

Those are the kids who spend more on their birthday parties than most people do on weddings.

Meh, it could be much worse... pretty much like in every other industrialized nation.
I maintain that its easy to complain about gas prices because they're posted on large signs on the side of the road. Not because they really affect the bottom line.

alright, I for one happen to think this is outrageous, and it's not only gas prices, rent is going up, prices all over the city are going up, and the middle classes are being beaten into the ground with this. My family has been directly affected by all these changes and although many can't relate because they're either too rich (prymetyme) or on the other end of the spectrum, it's becoming increasingly hard to live here.
