I got slated for saying these are crap over in US men forum, i don't see how anyone can not laugh at these rankings.
Surely we are top 5 and above the US,Mexico,Spain and France.

But, but, but.... we beat Norway and Canada.....and Poland.
The reason its so high is because they have played more friendlies in this space than other teams.
In fact they play more friendlies than England so it warps the ranking somewhat.
They are a complete joke - anyone who takes them seriously needs to be shot.

FIFA ranking were good when it looked like Scotland may of drop out of the top 100 but now i couldn't care less.

2) At least try and understand how FIFA calculates the rankings.
We all know the rankings are flawed. Every month people get their knickers in a twist over it.

what is a sock? I take it thats not a compliment.
On topic. Its surprising to see USA top 5 but even more surprising to see Nigeria and Cameroon in the top 15. They both failed to qualify for the world cup and performed poorly at the African nations cup. At least USA qualified for the World cup.

They are basically just a complete waste of time. I guess drawing with Canada and beating Norways under 11's counts for more than beating Argentina (England) and urinating on Germany in the case of the greasey eyeties. Still gives the yanks something to cheer about i 'spose

wheres me gun ???.......I've even bet on them to win the group...at 6/1.....while not the 5th best side in the world, they are a lot better than some think....and getting better all the time..

The one thing they did get right is ranking the US ahead of Mexico. Been kicking there ass since the turn of the century. Something like 12 wins out of 14 matches.

Yea..about freaking time too...We got tired of giving u lessons eveytime we played..it finally looks like u yanks actually learned something..i mean c'mon for 50 yrs we handed ur asses to u and u still didnt learn..Costa Rica learned..even Guatemala..they would run circles around u too its was really funny...we now feel like a proud father watching our son (u.s) finally grow up and play decent football..but dont get used to it...because it wont last,evryone knos that...this u.s team wont be the same forever..:D
