Thought exactly the same thing and was gonna post exactly the same sort of thing but you beat me to it. Problem with seeing more of that next season is Ballack will be playing for Chelsea. That will only improve them next season which will mean we may finish the same sort of points behind them next season. Something i am not looking forward to.

not to jack the thread but you are right. they just slot in ballack for gudjonson/essien. their bench will be gudjonson,essien,swp,huth,crespo/another xfer, cudicini.
with their "433"
starting midfield=ballack,lampard,makele
starting forwards=drogba,duff,robben/joecole.
starting backline=terry blah blah.

I understand there may be some concern with Ballack entering Chelsea but i dont think it will make a major difference. The difference is with the Arsenal. The guys are getting some experience in and playing alot better. When they play at full potential and 'Arsene's Way', im sorry but no team in the EPL can match us.

I'm not doubting us. I just think its going to be a very hard slog with the Chelsea millions involved. I believe in us and I for one from the start of the season have believed we are going to win the Champions League this season. I just think to compete a little better than this season we need to keep all the players we currently have and bring in a few more experienced players like Rosicksy. It doesn't matter where they play just as long as they are good, in our price range and good enough to bring along the young players.

I'm also getting fed up with people telling me I doubt Arsenal, I'm not a true Arsenal supporter and shit like that. I have supported Arsenal since I can remember and i'm now 20 years old. I can't remember much things when I was younger because I was too young to remember.
Adams' goal against Everton that was the final goal of the season to win us the league, winning the Cup Winners Cup, Henry's amazing goal against Man U when he had his back to goal and chipped it over Bartez's head into the top left hand corner, winning the Premiership Old Trafford and White Hart Lane, The Unbeaten Season.
Then there are the bad times when we went out to that goal from the half way line, going out to Chelsea in the Champions League. The time when I first started supporting Arsenal there finished 13th in the league I think.
So stop telling me I am the No1ArsenalDoubter I am fed up with it. Yes I am a bit negative sometimes but that is how I am in life. When did you guys start supporting Arsenal? I'm not slating you for only supporting them for a short amount of time but I get really offended by people on here telling me i'm a chicken little fan or I doubt Arsenal I don't I am negative sometimes so just take it with a pinch of salt alright.

Stop shouting the guy down. He was just voicing his opinion and everyones opinion should be appreciated. Its what makes the board interesting and lively.
Who cares how long you have been supporting arsenal. Im 21 and have been a supporter for 7 years now. To me that is pretty good considering my age and i live on the west coast of the states.

didn't mean no disrespect rich - chelsea's spending is definitely not good for football - BUT titles are won on the pitch and i believe arsenal will be in the thick of it in 06/07....
