What movie did you just watch, are planning to see or recommend to all of us?

Louie and K told me to watch Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind, which I did....it was pretty good.

Old Boy (Korean Movie)

Best movie of the past few years.

And last weekend I went to see Transamerica. Open endings arent my favorite, but good movie nevertheless.

Another one I was gonna bring up was a movie about the last two-ranked teams of FIFA, Monterrat and Bhutran or some schitt, who play their own "World Cup Final" while Brasil and France played theirs in 1998...I forgot the name of it, but it was pretty good....english subtitles....

Another one is called The Cup, about a group of monks in tibet, maybe? who try to coax their master or whatever you call them to get a TV and satellite to watch that same 1998 final...it was pretty funny, also with english subtitles

just rented: wedding crashers. I thought, although that would be the best job in the world, the movie was overrated IMO.

at the movies: Running scared. Pretty dope. I thought it was a matrix meets the goodfellas, with a touch of true scarry creepiness thrown in. You need to assume many things and just go along with the movie, but besides that I thouroughly enjoyed it.

this past weekend I saw this peruvian indie film called "Cuidad de M" on the cine latino channel...

I must admit this film was different from anything I had ever seen from peru before...and the ending wasnt bad either...

I was wondering if any of you guys had checked it out? are ther any other like it?!

there was also another peruvian flick that i liked from years ago called dia de los perros or something like that....help me out cholos, was that the correct name?

i also mentioned another flick called doble juego about a bytch-ass spaniard that goes to lima to scam and gets caught, all shot in lima....that flick was fun too.

I saw "Ciudad de M" too, didn't like it that much, I think we have different views regarding the movie maybe because you had never heard of it before, in my case any person that had seen it was raving it so I was holding high expectations for it and I was dissapointed with it.
But the Skeleton Key was really good, Red Eye was good also.

I remeber the promos for the movie. They made it seem like the bad guy was the devil or something supernaturally evil.

Instead he was just a model looking guy trying to play the role of a villain. WEAK.

Another point is about that movie we went over not too long ago, with the same two actors from Cuidad de M, the movie about the Bisexual. The gay scenes are grotesque but the movie in general is good, I know atleast 2-3 of you guys watched it.

And Borracho I think you are reffering to La Cuidad y los Perros. I thought you would know since it was a famous book by Peruvian writer Llosa.

dude!! model looking guy? that guy looks like a freak, he also played the scarecrow in Batman Begins, he has that sick bastard look.

"Ciudad de M" is great. With a Hollywood budget to improve the sound and a little better editing it'd be a classic.

I saw "Closer" a couple nights ago. Trippy ass movie. It went a little too far with the twists and turns but great nonetheless.

the best part of "ciudad de M" was seeing Melania Urbina:D small tits but beautiful face (for some reason in all her movies she either gets raped or fv(ked ).

If I remember correctly, Gianella Neyra also showed her tits for a mili-second in "Ciudad de M". I loved the soundtrack (Libido, La Liga del Sueno, Mar de Copas...).

Good movie except for the ending. I didn't like it. retarded ending.

few movies nowaday have good endings. or at least it seems like it.

Yea, the ending was kinda gay. It was funny when they were breaking the Phone Booth :D "Telefono de la conchesumadre"! :p
