You have this poster on your wall too huh? :p
Yes. Your point?
Besides, just finished watching the pilot of Dawson's Creek again. Fingers crossed it will be an entire re-run.

Heroes is an amazing television show. One of my favorite shows on tv along with Lost.

The Knights of Prosperity is a half-hour show on ABC. Donal Logue is a redheaded comedic actor who you may remember from VHI's I love the 80s and some other show on another network I can't remember. He's the lead actor, and I just noticed from the credits, one of the producers as well. He's hilarious. The show has only aired twice. So far it is tremedous. You guys have to see it. If only to say "I saw it before the networks started twiddling with it and turned it into the crap Desperate Housewives and Lost were in their 2nd season."
I guess its regular time is Wednesdays at 9:00, but ABC appears to be airing it more than once weekly. Don't know how popular it is or what the reviews say, but I love it!

My personal stance on 24 is this:
jello > 24. Go ahead and start slagging me off now, some of my friends do it all the time lol.

I can tolerate 24, but I really REALLY don't see what all the noise is about. Its VERY unrealistic and not an apt portrayal of an Intelligence officer in the least.

Since when does a show have to be completely realistic to be considered a good show?

No, it can be a good show and not realisitic if its a comedy or a soap but even then, to have a cult following there should be great reasons other than frequent and quite frankly rediculous and annoying plot twists/allegiance changes.

 You don't consider Jack Bauer to be THE reason for the success of the show?
People like superheroes. Batman, Spiderman, Superman, James Bond movies, etc. are not so successful because of the plot twists which are often unrealistic and stupid, but because of the superhero. 24 is even better, because it actually takes place in the *real* world and tackles more or less *current* issues.

the 24 phenomenon is strictly a post 9-11 thing. In a world where audiences seem to be drawn to extremes, and most of tv series nowadays linger between sappy romances and those idiotic shows that answer questions with more questions (Lost, the Nine, Heroes), it's still refreshing to see a show that is very Vidic-esque in taking no shit, and making point after point.

It's a straight-up television version of your typical popcorn movie, nothing more. And that's the point. You'll run out of hours in the day if you pick through all the plot holes. You just have to sit back and cheer for the awesomeness of Jack.
If you're looking for a far more procedurally accurate show, I highly recommend The Wire.

Going to agree with everything Achtung said. The Wire is an incredible show, easily the best drama out there. But 24 is just fun.

I don't know if you all have checked it out yet, but I want to push The Knights of Prosperity one last time.
Sample dialogue from most recent episode:
Hot girl: Growing up in Columbia, my dream was always to own a pony. A big white pony with shiny golden hair and a big shiny horn. In the forehead.
Big guy: That's not a pony. They's a unicorn, baby. They're not for sale. They's mythological.

That show is pretty funny especially the Indian guy. Unfortunately I missed the past 2 episodes. :o

Just watched the first episode in the new season of Top Gear. Hammond's crash film was included and his comments pre-crash on it were hilarious.

Haha, add me up to that list. When I went to India over the Christmas break, they had a Top Gear episode available to watch on the plane. It was f**king brilliant, Clarkson got a Veyron  and raced Hamster and James, who were in a plane, from Italy to London. It was great. I just finished watching the last season this morning, and now I'm hooked.
Can't wait to see the crash stuff. If you're interested, I think Hamster is on the Top Gear website taking questions right now.

Oh man that show is ********ing hilarious. We get it here on BBC Canada and its great. I've only seen 3 episodes one of them was when theybuilt a cottage of sorts in an old Mercedes S-Class and a previous episode where they had a competition to build a working amphibious car. I loved every second of it.
