One time at a party we threw in college, I saw a dog eat an entire tray of jello shots. :D :D Poor dog was passed out for 12 hours. :D

Nymphomaniac is not exactly my thing, tbh. "She's got a flat spot on her head, so I can rest my beer"
They're a fun party band. They have a couple of nice songs too -- "Somewhere Down in Texas" and "Telephone Romeo" are 2 of the ones I still listen to.
I'm suprised you've heard of them up there in NY. Cool.
I've got a couple of his songs on my Ipod. My buddy who went to Tulane came home all into country music.. So I just would try to find songs i liked so i didn't have to suffer when in the car with him...

At this one party I went to my friend was so angry at this one random guy who drank all his alcohol so he grabbed an empty bottle, pissed in it and gave it to the guy who drank all his alcohol. The guy took it an drank a whole mouthfull when he realised what he was drinking. His cheeks filled up with the piss. It was one of the funniest, albeit grossest, things I have ever seen in my life. Nothing to write home about, but its a funny story nonetheless.

Im sure Teso or Billy could give us a few good storys
I'll need to think about that one, as I would rather not get locked up and some of them could make me lose the very last shred of dignity/respect that I have here. Uncle Teso has been a very naughty boy. His developmental years were a disgrace. Sex, drugs and rock 'n' roll indeed.

Picture that story featuring a funnel instead of a bottle and he drank every last drop..

Uh.. not much. Threw a party at the end of my senior year about 20 of my friends. One guys funneled too much and sat over the toilet for about 2 hours whilst he sobered all the way back up after about 10 beer and some everclear. Another guy completely wasted decides its a good idea to puke in my parents' sink. Thusly clogging the thing up. Me, fortunatelly extremely pissed and not worried about the other guy puking his brains out, sticks my hand into the sink and unclogs it by hand. No need for rotorooter. Lastly, 300 pounds friend that played clarinet in the school band  passes out around 2, at 4 he apparently wakes up in the midst of eating in the kitchen while we were playing cards..

But, if your buddy introduced you to other local bands like Cowboy Mouth, or the Funky Meters, or the Rebirth Brass Band, then all was not lost.

I saw Cowboy Mouth last year. They play their songs pretty frequently on one of the radio stations in town.

During Mardi Gras 7-8 years ago we hit up a Meters concert... When it ended I looked around and realized i had lost all my friends. So i start wandering around looking for them.. Finally i find this one guy i was there with passed out against a fence.. I pick him up and drag him to Bourbon street.. Which was not a good idea since about 10 inches in the crowd starts seperating us ;).. Since he's in no condition to be on his own and I'm shall we say less than sober I grab him and drag him back to St. Charles I believe where we get a cab back towards Tulane.. We get up to the Boot and all our friends are there wondering where the hell we were....

Haha, the Boot!! I LIVED in the Boot my freshman year. Actually I lived in the girl's dorm that was one block from the Boot, so I could stay until I was ready to stumble home. I grabbed Peyton Manning's butt in the Boot one time. Just cause he was there, and why not? :)
Striker -- none of those bands I listed are country, they're just local New Orleans bands. The Meters and RBB are both jazz inspired rock bands -- or, er, that's what I would call them.
I didn't realize Cowboy Mouth were still doing it. The last CD of theirs I have is from the late 90s. Glad they're still around though, they're a great band.

They're (******** you Zinn. :)also from Oxford, MS IIRC. ;) Could be wrong. I think they are still going. Maybe not, there is a bar in my college town that has live bands alot and I might remember them coming, but I'm not sure. They do have alot of these local small time bands come in there though, like the aptly named blues band "North Mississippi All-Stars".. Apparentlly it was a hit here though I didn't go that night.

Ok, need grocery list recommendations for party. All sorts of people and I am wanting to make some drinks instead of my regular party ball or case or what have you. Any suggestions (alcohol and non ie for mixing).

Ummm...I know its not a grocery item, but a while ago, I found paper bikinis. They disintigrate in water.
Just don't tell anybody beforehand that its a pool party so the girls don't show up in their own. And get them a little buzzed before you break out the bikinis:D
