I know were not the best team this year, although, we may be in Europe(knock on wood), but does anyone play prettier soccer than us? The way we move the ball and the way we go about playing the game with our passing and movement and commitment to attack to me is one of a kind. Ill take an old school 1-nill to The Arsenal win over a 5-4 loss anyday but I think there is no other club team in the world that is as entertaining as we are. Barca maybe but they play a bit of a different style than us. As a team we play the way the game is meant to be played. What does everyone think?

Barca is pretty damn entertaining this year. It'd be hard to watch them and not smile. Ronaldinho's enthusiasm is just infectious.

I think some of the entertainment took a hit with PV's departure but it's starting to come back. this team is looking more and more sure-footed every game. once they start clicking, its gonna be great to watch.
and yea barca is damn fun to watch. altho last weekend's game was pretty ridiculous. hard to play well when you get fouled up and down the pitch and the refs aren't calling anything..

I love the way you guys play. I'm envious. But I do think Barca plays more attractive football.
I like how Cesc is passing now...he's going to be a star f'sho.
And of course Henry...
Hleb is not too bad too. He's starting to come together, I always knew he would, it took him some time to get used to Stuttgart too IIRC.

yeah Hleb is starting to come around and I think he understands now that he cant dribble so much, but he does add a different element to our game.

This is the exact reason i become an arsenal supporter in the first place. We play the game the way it is supposed to be played, beautifully. This is also why i am fond of Brazil and Barca. I love how lately our team seems to be enjoying themselves too, obviously this comes with good results but it goes much deeper then that. They are starting to understand each other, the chemistry is there and it shows on the face of everyone. I stand by my earlier statements that the 0-0 draw with real was one of the best games i have ever witnessed. It was two great teams going at each other, the game flowed back and forth.

It's weird, but there's a part of me (probably the same part that likes to play with fire and do shots of absinthe) that would love to see us play Barca, just because I think the football would be amazing. Both clubs play beautiful football and it would be end to end the whole time. It would also be interesting to see how the kids play against a team like that. The pressure on Cesc and the backline would be immense, and a great test to see just how far they come.

Barca are entertaining - however we followed up a 0 - 0 with Real Madrid with a 2 - 1 win over the European Champions. They followed up a 1 - 1 with Chelski with a 2 - 1 defeat at lowly Osasuna.
Not that I'm saying we're better than them!

roma(b4 totti got injured) and barca run us pretty close. milan when kaka is on form consistently are great to watch as well.
notable mentions : werder bremen, manchester united(as much as i hate their players and manager they should of owned newcastle 6-0 at least) and ajax(recent form).

I'd love to see us and Barca in the CL final. The two teams that play the best, most flowing football in the world playing for European club football's top trophy would be awesome.

I'll readily admit that y'all play a damn beautiful and entertaining style of footy. Barca's still the most entertaining team to watch. Ronaldinho could make a bowel movement a national sensation with his flair and attitude.
henry is the classiest player in the league, if not the world.
Without Patrick, you knew it'd be a year of transition and learning. You have to take your lumps now and then in order to grow into something better. If you can keep #14, you'll be a damn sight to behold next year.
Best of luck in Europe this year. Would make me laugh till it hurts if Pool and Arse hoist Big Ears in consecutive years while Chelski cry into their rubles.

If Arsenal play like this and dont win, its fine by me.
Of course as a supporter I would like them to win too.

I think I would rather watch Arsenal play than do almost anything else. I watch their games over and over and never get tired. I have the last two years season reviews dvds and I have watched them both about 100 times and I still love watching them. Its just so refreshing to see the way they connect with each other. This season there has been a bit of a decline but we are starting to play that way again and we are getting the results too.

Barca rely on brilliance and passing in the final third whereas Arsenal rely on passing and brilliance...either way spectators are moved.

I think we rely on more team brilliance than individual brillance, either way both teams play footy the way its suppose to be played.

If barcelona didn.t have Ronnie people would not say they play attractive football.
On the othe hand Arsenal's passing sometimes makes you drool, there one touch passing makes football a delight to watch.

True that. But i think theres more depth in their team than just Ronaldinho. Same goes for TH14 and The Arsenal. Not to take anything away from them tho, theyre both magnificent and are definitely a huge influence on the team!
However theres Messi, Deco for Barca that can dazzle and likewise with the Gunners the likes of Cesc , RVP, Ljungberg and occasionally Reyes.
Arsenal Barca UCL final would be superb! but of course we'd have to get thru the BiancoNeri first!:D

I agree, although I would say that Reyes dazzles mroe than say Ljunbery but thats neither here nor there.

i think my favorite part about watching arsenal and noticed with barca is the incredible one touch passes they both display going back to the unbeaten season you would watch an arsenal game and i was amazed at how we turned 13 one touch passes in the attacking third in to a goal and made it look like we were playing a reserve team

Completely disagree. Yes Ronaldinho is a massive part but Xavi, Messi, Deco, Iniesta etc. are a big part as well. If Ronaldinho wasn't there they would be noticed a lot more than they are.
In my opinion flashy football does not always mean attractive football.
