Any idea on the seating capacity of those venues for proper football? I'm particularly interested in Cleveland. I'm thinking Drew Carey will have many thousands of his closest friends there.

That may be what I was asking, but just to be doubly clear: are those the capacity (seats on offer) for soccer, or maximum capacity for those stadiums? I know sometimes they limit seating at stadiums for events if they don't expect that large a crowd (and possibly open up sections if demand warrants).
Don't get me wrong, I'd love to see Cleveland rock the USMNT with a sold out house, but even with everyone who travels is that a valid projection for a friendly?

FYI, here are the attendances for the send-off games last cycle:
Sunday, 5/12/02 -- RFK Stadium, Washington, DC -- Uruguay -- 30,413
Thursday, 5/16/02 -- Giants Stadium, E. Rutherford, NJ -- Jamaica -- 30,659
Sunday, 5/19/02 -- Gillette Stadium, Foxboro, MA -- Netherlands -- 36,778
(that stadium was not yet finished, but available seating wasn't sold out, as I recall)

Staying downtown in Nashville (rather than staying farther out) will make your stay a little more enjoyable. The Holiday Inn Express for $99 is the best deal among the hotels around Broadway. The stadium is just across the river. I have an early morning flight the following morning, but I wouldn't mind shooting some pool at one of the joints on Broadway.
luckily for me, I have relatives in Nashville which means free lodging!

Hmmm, the US Soccer site is listing "On-field seating" for $150 a pop for the game at Cleveland Browns Stadium. I would imagine those would temporary midfield bleachers, so the capacity may be even bigger than the 73,000.
My guess would be, if the USSF can get 35,000 in Cleveland (which would basically most of the lower seating) they'd be very happy with it.
There's been nothing offical said yet, but I'd love to see Sam's Army seats in the Dawg Pound (which should be $20 for this match, not bad at all.) If we can get that bad boys barking like Browns-Steelers game, I'd consider it a success.:D

My guess would be, if the USSF can get 35,000 in Cleveland (which would basically most of the lower seating) they'd be very happy with it.It looks like, according to the map of the Coliseum on the US Soccer site, that the upper deck won't be offered for sale (at least initially) in Nashville (see below). Given that none of the seating prices for Cleveland appear to account for the upper deck, I'd assume that's the case in Browns Stadium, too.
$150 On-Field Seats
$75 Club Seats
$55 Midfield
$40 Sidelines
$30 Corners
$20 Endlines
As for the "on-field seating", at other stadiums, it's just been a row (or two?) of seats behind the advertising boards. I'd guess that was the case here, too (as it appears to be in Nashville, see below).
Nashville seating set-up (no upper deck, very few club level):

The stadium in East Hartford is the same venue we beat Trinidad & Tobago 1-0 in qualifying, isn't it?

Correct. It's a pretty nice venue.

Yep, I remember liking the look to it on TV. I wish I could actually see it in person, though. Hopefully we get wins out of all of these matches and go into the World Cup riding high.

Could somebody from Nashville tell me how long it takes from the stadium to the airport? Last flight out is at 9:20 PM, and the game starts at 6 PM. And how much would a cab be?
Thanks.

(I used to live in Tennessee.)
A cab ride will cost you around $22. The eight mile ride should take no more than twenty minutes with light traffic. Depends on the time of day.
