I think its funny how people have forgotten about Lauren already. His injury reminds me of Bobby's back in 2002, only instead of Freddie catching fire, its been Eboue. Though Toure and Lehman have had great a season, Lauren was by far our most consistent player up until the injury, even more so than Toure.
Its not that I don't like what Toure and Eboue have brought in since they came back from the CAN, but don't forget Ralph.

What do you guys think about Lauren going to Milan in the summer and us going for another signing? Reasons im saying this is because they want supposedly want him, and Eboue is playing amazing. Not saying im exactly for it, but what do you guys think?

Not so much forgotten as he is out for the season and not much to talk about because of it.

on topic: I like Lauren. I don't think I'd be too upset if he wasnt at AG next season.

I kinda think we need him next year, and that's not a knock on Eboue. He's versatile, experienced, and links up well down that right. I think with the youth we have, we needs some experience on the pitch, especially if we lose anything more than Bergkamp come next year (say Bobby, Freddie, Ashley).

Well, im almost certain we will lose Bobby, certain we wont lose Freddy, and realy hoping we wont lose Ashley.

Lauren might also get a run out in a central defensive midfield role- that might be workable.

Btw, we can play Eboue as a CD, and Ralphie at his usual RB. They have done that before, right? It's worth considering in light of a possible purchase at CD in the summer.

I dont want him to go, itll be great to see him, Eboue and even Glibert fight it out for that spot. RB is one of our safest positions, at the moment Eboue and his pace are really impressing me though.

It is good that we have Lauren, Eboue and Gilbert who have all shown they can do a job in the Premiership at right-back. Competition for the place will keep them all on their toes.

Then lets just say he is listed inaccurately. I have never once seen him play in central defence and i have seen him play for more than just Arsenal. In fact the first time i saw him play i thought he was winger!

me neither but the way it is listed makes it seem that its not a mistake.
"The Ivory Coast international, who impressed during a trial at Highbury in the summer of 2004, is predominantly a right-back but he can also operate at centre-half and even in midfield."
