I'll be blogging - I think I'll start a separate one for the trip though. (Of course I'll have to write the preface with all the drama from the USSF ticket debacle. ;)

Yes. I will be doing a fan diary on www.footymania.com
Did it in Portugal. Should be fun. Easy way to 'keep in touch' with friends in family too.

http://tifosi.hooverdam.net will be updated while in Germany--our rental apartment has wi-fi and I'm taking my laptop.

I may end up blogging for the Chicago Fire's website, as well as notabbott.com (http://www.notabbott.com/)

Heh... I see you're not the only one who was attracted to that location because of the wi-fi ;)
edit: I'll post to http://john-mark.blogspot.com/ as often as possible. It will be a soccer and beer blog... prost!

It depends on whether I have access to a computer. My only lapyop is my work computer and there isn't a chance in hell that I'm bringing this thing with me. But if I can find one in a cafe or library, I'll post something to False 45th (http://false45th.blogspot.com).

I'll probably do a blog. Don't have any sort of plan yet.

A friend of mine will be. He decided to get ready for the World Cup by spending three months in England going to games there and then will transfer to Germany. He's already seen some great stuff. He went to Chelsea v. Fulham and Arsenal v. Charlton last weekend for instance:

Any recommendation on a cool place to enroll for a blog site?

Blogspot, Typepad, even Livejournal maybe. Or DIY and install the software on your own hosting service; I'm using WordPress but MovableType's pretty strong.

Public internet terminals are quite common throughout Europe in airports, train stations, and cafes. You should have no problem finding a place to log on.

If you want people to be able to comment on your posts, I'd avoid Livejournal, because you have to be a registered Livejournal user to post comments.

No, you don't; LJ (and other sites that use LJ software, like GreatestJournal) permit anonymous comment posting. It's just that most users have anonymous commenting turned off. Same story with Blogspot or TypePad.
