Wrong both Garcia and Palencia in Chivas USA make more then those guys and Blanco makes over a $1,000,000.00

At one time Jose Cardozo was being payed about 1.5 million when he was playing for Toluca.....right now I think Cuatemoc Blanco is getting paid something like that so Im assuming hes the best paid player playing in Concacaf......

I thought it was Sanchez, i remember one time in Noticiero TD they said something about his salary and that it was high, so he would not go to a another club, but i would see Blanco being it, playing for the richest club in Concacaf etc

i had heard that in several sports shows, but they never really said exact amount of he's wages.

I've heard Julian de Guzman makes roughly 2.5 million Euro playing for Deportivo La coruna, while Tomasz Radzinski is not that far behind at Fulham.

McBride makes about 1.5 million. I didn't find Beasley's, but I imagine it's between 1 and 1.5 million or so...

Does anyone have better info on current Mexican league salaries? How many 1+ million players are there?

Brian McBride makes about 1.5-2 mil a year.

Tim Howard was making about 2.5-3 mil a year when he was a starter at Man U.

I am sure Brad Friedel makes even more than Howard.

Claudio Reyna is making about >2.5-3 million per year.

Rafa Marquez salary in 2003 was 1.2 mil per year. Prob makes more now. But in general, defenders don't make a lot of money.

I meant players at CONCACAF clubs. So, Marquez and McBride don't count because they play in Europe, but Djorkaeff counts because he plays in the USA, even though he is not of a CONCACAF nationality.

I think the highest paid player in concacaf is in the Mexican league, not necessarily a Mexican, but the Mexican league has no salary cap so on average their player will always make more than MLS players.

i don't know its top limit but i'm sure its close. Cardozo was worth it though. he won 4 league championships and is a 4 time scoring champion. He would score 3 goals or 4 goals each game. one of the best players to ever come in the FMF. he was a big reason why Toluca have ruled the fmf the last ten years. He could have been a starter on manchester united or real madrid but he chose the FMF

Maybe youre exagerrating silghtly when you say Cardozo scored 3 or 4 goals a game, but yes, he was a very good player and worth the money.
