...definitively gotta play with two upfront...they don't have anything to lose,and a lone striker is just not gonna cut it....might be a problem consdering neither Pagis or Maoulida will play....so that leaves only Niang and maybe Gimenez??...you could let Nasri roam the box with Niang eventhough he is a more of a natural winger...either way it's gonna be tough for Marseille with all those players missing, especially in midfield, without Ribery and Oruma...tough break....

niang and gimenez? why not play luyindula? he was their leading scorer last year! what's that you say? they threw their leading scorer in the dustbin? don't be ridiculous!
during the first leg niang had more balls in his own half than in the box. and gimenez touched the ball three times in 30 minutes: the first one he swiped the tying goal from oruma, the other two bounced off his head over the back line.
but 1-0 isn't the hardest score to overcome, and OM has played best this year with their backs to the wall, so we can always hope.

...that's probably their only strikers that they had available for this game...unless they wanted to go over the top and throw in N'Diaye from the B team....and yeah Gimenez has just been awful in the season,Niang is so,so...he has his moments,not very often though...anyways none of that matters now as they'r out....they need to sign a decent striker in the off-season,if by any chance they do make it to CL next season....I'd say go for L'pools Cisse as he surely seems to be going out of there at the end of the season....

the luyindula story is everything wrong with OM in a nutshell. from the time they tapped him up at OL to the day he went to auxerre it was just one big comic horror story, and everybody played a role; the agents, RLD, PD, the fans, and peguy himself whose first mistake was swallowing the big sardine story in the first place...
