Or you tell you girlfriend that, for most women, the pill regulates and shortens the period, lessens the symptoms of PMS, reduces acne, and is a wonderful supplement to anyone's birth control regimen. It also prevents hysterical over-reaction in both men and women when a condom breaks, or whatever.
