Hey all...just popping in here...I'm swamped at work today...
No one at work, especially my boss, seems to care that I've got jetlag. Heartless bastards.
And Rob forgot to mention we had a special BigSoccer visitor to Highbury and The Arsenal Tavern... ;)
But it was a complete blast...Rob was wise to head home from the Tavern when he did. I went to the TBird with the Austrians and with Peter (an ArseAm-er) and closed the place down. That was one pub too far! And the tube had stopped running. So these English guys I was drinking with got me on a taxi home. I hope they email me so I can thank them properly: without them I'd still be sleeping in the Finsbury Park station!!
The wife was starving....and more accurately...I knew I'd get into trouble (as in schnockered) really quickly with the pint curls if I hung around the pubs much longer. But sounds like you had fun.
Btw, Rick, if you're reading....Maison Touaregue (sp?) was very good. Thanks for the rec.

I never really read comics or got into them. It is kind of funny though about the similarities as I'm reading on wikipedia about Iron Man.

Does anyone remember who it was who was asking about bringing their phone over to the UK to keep it active? Was it TopcatCole?

I read a lot of comics when i was a kid. I remember reading that Iron Man comic when i was about 9. At the time, Iron Man and DareDevil were my favorites, but both comics had a lot of heavy shit going on. Maybe not the best thing for an impressionable young mind. On the other hand, people who try to shelter their kids too much are only going to raise kids that aren't prepared for the real world.

Damn, i just saw that the Vikings unloaded Culpepper to the Fins. I don't know why that surprised me, really.
