I've had a crappy Samsung for a few years now and it still works fine. No special features, just a basic flip-phone.

Don't laugh, many panties have been dropped by that sucker. Too bad all of them only heard the one song i know how to play. :D

Ok, any bets on what's the song that's so effective at separating women from their grundies?

"Your Thong"?

"Thong For The Asking"?

(Sorry - it's getting late over here :o :D )

cameron, you mentioned that your highbury experience was your best sporting event ever... i mean, for me its up there..
but was it better than your average game at kyle field??
hell, i HATE the aggies, but that atmosphere is the best i have ever experienced in my life. obviously, nearly 3x the people, so its overwhelming... just curious if you were just talkin about european footie or whatnot.

If you don't mind my jumping in when I wasn't really asked (although I don't think that's ever stopped anyone around here), I've never been to Kyle field, but I've been to about 9 different stadiums for events in the US (College and Pro football) and there's really no comparison. When that crowd gets singing at Highbury there's nothing like it!!

I heard a story on NPR the other day. Apparently Roma fans have adopted the White Stripes' "7 Nation Army" as their new song. They played a clip of the crowd chanting along to the bassline of the song, it was pretty damn cool.

hey i love matches at highbury as well... no other stadium in america is like kyle field on gameday, just cant explain how they do it down there.

the rome derby was way more insane then any match ive been to at highbury, (never been to a north london derby). not at all saying its pants mind, just saying it isnt the greatest sporting place that ive ever been involved in. just my opinion.

EDIT: i mentioned an aggie gameday, cuz i am sure cameron has been before.

Well, you've heard our new song, right?

We're the Yankee Doodle Gooners
Yankee Gooners Do or Die

We rise each match day at the crack of dawn
even the Fourth Of July

We've got Yankee Gooner sweethearts
They're our Yankee Gooner joy

Yankee Gooners came to London just to see the Arsenal
We are the Yankee Gooner boys!

The Inter v Roma game i went to at the San Siro was the loudest match i've ever been to. And it was played midweek in a half empty stadium. Maybe it had something to do with the stadium, but i think its because their ultras are just insane.

have to say my best sporting moment I saw in person was the White Sox beating the Angels in game 2 of the ALCS.

All the guitar talk today got me inspired, i'm working on "No Sense In Lovin'" by Uncle Tupelo. The chords aren't that tough, but the tempo is a bitch, not a bad tune to slow down though.

ps Far Far Away by Wilco is another panty dropper thats pretty easy to learn. And since almost no one knows that song, you can always claim you wrote it. ;) :D
