re: B chord: I cheat and use jazz formations or the standard trey use of just the main three notes (i.e. - just the 3 barred notes.....) for chords.

i cheat by using my pinky... but its not that sharp sound.. really flubbed.

Yeah, I want to do Eyes and New Speedway.
eyes wasn't the easiest for me to learn (to play it exactly as they did)...especially since the dead liked to play it at a super fast tempo....but it's fun.

my personal style is a lot of muted strings/jazzy-like chords so I can attribute my 'cheating' to style ;)

phor the most part, I enjoy trying to come up with my own songs.....not much of a lyricist so I have issues completing them but it's still more phun playing stuphph I came up with....

so i think Dick Chaney just drove to the Wyndham hotel near my office. For those near Chicago, my building overlooks 355/53 & Thorndale. Thorndale was completly shut down over the highway and people leaving the other offices around here could not get onto Thorndale. Then a motorcade of 1 cop car, three black limos, a white van, two unmarked cars, and two more cop cars drive on Thorndale (over the highway) and turn into the road that leads to my office. it was freaking weird. why the F do they have to shut down all the roads? If I was driving and got stuck because of that I would've been pissed. My wife's route home goes right by the VPs residence at the Naval Observatory and she gets stuck about once a week. She's definitely not a fan of the way they run the motorcades! A lot of "doesn't he work for US on those nights"!

ive been playing for 8 years, and have no idea how to play any dmb songs.
way too technical for me.
i can play the beginning to Lie in our Graves, and the guitar during hte long instrumental part. I can also play "Typical Situations" the beginning of "jimi thing" but that doesn't sound right, and the beginning of Warehouse, but again it doesn't really sound right.

I once played/sang "Lie In Our Graves" solo to 1,500 people.

as for dmb songs I recently have been playing it is mostly "#34". i love it....and its instramental...sweet.
