Ok Dan, if you're doing Irish songs with a Chicago connection here's my favourite. Cheerful it ain't, but it's still a good song.

In the city of Chicago
As the evening shadows fall
There are people dreaming
Of the hills of Donegal

Eighteen forty seven
Was the year it all began
Deadly pains of hunger
Drove a million from the land
They journeyed not for glory
Their motive wasn't greed
A voyage of survival
Across the stormy sea

Some of them knew fortune
Some of them knew fame
More of them knew hardship
Died upon the plain
They spread throughout the nation
They rode the railroad cars
Brought their songs and music
To ease their lonely hearts
ok, the one i picked is a little happier. :)

and it was freaking awesome that it was like 60 degrees outside today.

McNamara would be higher, but he's really not a true point guard. I'm also partial to Hart just because I covered him and he was always awesome to talk to. I'm not as familiar with the last two, but Pearl and Sherm are legends up there.

Thanks for the score updates yesterday! We won our match as well 6-0! It was 80 degrees and beautiful-good day for some footie! :D

definitely...a weekend of twos:

2 concerts (Levy, Love As Laughter)

2 TH14 goals

2 'hot n herrrrrre' nights

other than that, kind of 'ho-hum'.

:p

That is too funny Steph!

Well, my internet at work is running at a snails pace today, so I may not post too much. Damn IT dept.

Sounds like GP had a good weekend. I on the other hand have blisters from de-thatching (racking dead grass) the front yard. :o

I figured you guys would like the picture of Josh from Saturday. He was actually looking for some juice but Sean caught him at just the right moment! :D

And Mike if you could let me know where I could get that t-shirt that would be great! I think my dad and my brother need one! :D

Since I can't talk like the ol' FedEx guy, I'll just drop a few lines and run.

- Nice shot, Steph! Boy needed a cold one after the game, eh? ;)

- Arsene thinks the guys can catch Liverpool, eh? Keep playing like that and I don't doubt it. Up the Gunners!!

- Found a family that will put me up closer to the new job until we find a house. Don't expect too much partying though while I'm crashing with Pastor Kaiser and his wife. "It's only two months: Think of the $ being saved. It's only two months..."

- Hard labor Saturday, and yours truly had the farmer's tan to show for it! Finally hauled out 1.5 more tons of scrap brick, so the playset is no longer next to the Deadly Pile O Rubble! House is looking nice, and Lowes is loving us!

- Big Dance: I'd take Air Force and Seton Hall out, throw Cincy and Maryland in. But that's me.

- Sympathies to anyone affected by that string of Tornados in the midwest. Mother nature can be brutal.

My post rate won't be soaring this week while I finish up things in the Griffin office. I'm sure you'll keep the fun going as the boys make progress in the EPL and the ECL! Will join in when I can.

Cheers,

Adam
