You guys are a bad influence!! BBQ is DEFINITELY NOT ON MY DIET. But lunch was at the only place I know of on the Hill to get NC BBQ.
Thankfully, due to the influence you guys exerted on me this morning, I am absolved of all culpability in this matter. Now, can I convince you to go to the gym to work it off for me too? :D
i'll be heading to the gym to swim some laps after work.
i've got you covered!

I tried to get the lunch crew to go to the BBQ spot, but everyone else voted for Mexican. Oh well!

Took the family out for Mexican last weekend after Josh's footie match and he was digging on the cheese dip. He actually looked at me and said "I am loving this cheese dip Mom!" He's a mess just like his mother! :D

We can't order queso with Kyla around. That is all she wants to eat.
Man, I am sooooo ready to get out of here and have been waiting for the survey chief to get back in the office so I can meet with him about a project. Once that is done I am Audi 5000.

"Yes, now you too can reap the benefits of the Arsenal OT Diet Plan! Who needs pills, equipment or lamea** meal plans? That's so wrong! Just log on and request another OT member to exercise for you!! It's that easy! Lose the pounds without moving your fat butt..."

Getting amped for Paddy's Day:
Come single belle or beau,
unto me pay attention
Don't ever fall in live
tis' the Devils own invention.
For once I fell in love
with a maiden so bewitchin'
Miss Henrietta Bell,
outa' Captain Kelly's kitchen
Chorus :
With me toora loora la,
with me toora loora laddy
Me toora loora la,
with me toora loora laddy.
At the age of seventeen,
I was 'prenticed to a grocer
Not far from Stephen's Green,
where Miss Hney used to go sir
Her manners were sublime,
she set me heart a-twitchin'
And she invited me
to a hooley in the kitchen
Chorus :
Next Sunday bein' the day
we were to have the flare-up
I dressed myself quite gay,
an' I frizzed and oiled my hair up
The Captain had no wife,
fate he had gone out a-fishin'
And we kicked up high life,
down below-stairs in the kitchen.
Chorus :
With my arm around her waist,
she slighly hinted marriage
To the door in dreadful haste
came Captain Kelly's carriage!
Her eyes soon filled with hate,
and poison she was spittin
Captain Kellys at the gate
and he's heading for the kitchen
Chorus :
She flew up off my knees,
full five feet up or higher
And over head and heels,
sent me slap into the fire
Me new Repealers coat,
that I bought from Mrs. Mitchell
With a twenty-shilling note,
went to blazes in the kitchen.
Chorus :
When the Captain came downstairs,
though he saw my situation
In spite of all my prayers
I was marched off to the station
For me they'd take no bail,
tho' to get home I was itchin'
And I had to tell the tale
how I came into the kitchen.
Chorus :
I said she did invite me,
she gave a flat denial
For assault she did indict me,
and I was sent for trial.
She said I robbed the house
in spite of all her screeching
And I got six months hard,
for my courtin' in the kitchen.
Chorus : X2

Getting amped for Paddy's Day:
...Chorus : X2
X2. Good flick but didn't know they were Irish. Learn something new everyday! :p

So who among you wears green, who wears something with St. Paddy's day jokes or slogans, and who gives pinches to those that cop out? I'm in the first category meself.

I've got an Irish national rugby shirt from the '50s that I wear every year. Last year my mom got me one of those goofy felt leprechaun hats, and for Christmas, my aunt & uncle gave me shamrock shaped green tinted sunglasses. I'm ready. I also have an "Ireland/America Friendship" lapel pin that my ex's family from Ireland sent me. Not sure if I'll wear that this year though.

the tshirts for the pub crawl have a lephraun half mooning with the phrase "kiss me i'm irish" and a list of the bars on it.
On the fourth of July eighteen hundred and six
We set sail from the sweet cove of Cork
We were sailing away with a cargo of bricks
For the grand city hall in New York
'Twas a wonderful craft, she was rigged fore-and-aft
And oh, how the wild winds drove her.
She'd got several blasts, she'd twenty-seven masts
And we called her the Irish Rover.

We had one million bales of the best Sligo rags
We had two million barrels of stones
We had three million sides of old blind horses hides,
We had four million barrels of bones.
We had five million hogs, we had six million dogs,
Seven million barrels of porter.
We had eight million bails of old nanny goats' tails,
In the hold of the Irish Rover.
