Chivas vs Santos was a fast, emotion filled game. I turned off the tv with the Tigres vs Atlante game because it was so slow and nothing was happening. I can only hope none of those 2 make it to Libertadores because they would embarrass Mexico! they might even lose to the Peru 3.

im watching DeporTV. Jose Mamon is full of it. He said the interliga is set up for the bigger clubs that can attract crowds (ie America-Chivas).

This guy is suppose to be an institution in Mexican sports analysis. It is amazing how his hatred for America gets in the way of being objective.

There was method in which the groups were chosen were based on points NOT popularity. NOW i know here some of the folks around here get thier info

Necaxa 0-2 Jaguares

Goles de: Didi Pereira - 26'
Cabanas - 32'

It looks like since Didi is back, so are los Super Jaguares.

appears Demetrio Hernandez's pronunciation is more fluid now. He has always known spanish and does have a mexicanized spanish accent, but lacked fluidity. I always had the impression he still thought in english 1st. When he would puase, you would here the famous "um"

anyhow, about a month ago or so, i was reading a report and he basically said he is lifting his hand to be the captian and the team leader. hope it works out for him
