pesima marca de Salcido en el gol...wtf is up with Venezeluan teams escaping from Mexico with good results lately...do Mexican teams understimate them?

That was a weakly strategized game. I would've liked Sol to have sat this one out. I don't think this was a good game for him to come back from an injury, it was a little too fast paced for him. Overall, the team was off. Many inaccuracies when attacking against a team that came to look for a tie. We could've been more aggressive.

Dissapointing overall, nothing more. How could we lose to Caracas in Jalisco?

Even though it wasn't a loss, it sure feels like one. I expected much more after seeing them play so well against Necaxa.

Alguien me puede explicar que chin-ga-dos le paso a Salcido en este juego?
He didn't make that many mistakes, and had it been Maza, right now I would be asking what's new. But, still, WTmotherF?

Yeah, Salcido dissapointed me today, guess he is human after all :( , but then again the team as a whole dissapointed everyone I'm sure. No one stood out tonight, except Santana con su gol, it was pretty hard to watch for the most part. It was an off day for Chivas, and let's just put it behind us, and think about the next game, PLEASE.

Animo Chavos, results like these are bound to happen specially if you have players that are constantly getting called up to the National team. Playing two tourneys is no easy task. I have faith that Chivas can win in Venezuela.

How about admitting that CaracasFC played a good game?
Caracas had at least 3-4 clear chances to put the ball in and f..ked them up.
In Venezuela we are very happy that UAM & CaracasFC were able to get 4 pts out 6 pts in Mexico.

I think they played it safe the majority of the game hoping they could handle things the next time they play in Venezuela. Problem is Chivas plays much better away from home. The reality is you caught our team on an off-night. I wont accept that Caracas played a better game, I'll just say that they played the way they did...because Chivas let them also I wouldn't compare Chivas' and Pumas' performances, they're two very distinct teams and styles.

i remember seeing bofo really anxiously playing up front as if he knew he was playing a bunch of n00bs and was ready to take an easy opportunity to score.
i know the feeling, playing a less calibre team, to take advantage with the mentality, "ok, now i can score!"
they took the game too laid back, definitely yes. so did the fans, who hardly showed up to support.

can someone tell me what's up with those horrible shirts? The sleeves are like twice the length they should be. They just look ugly overall to me. For example, see Sol. hah.

They're the 1906 retro shirts they decided to bring back in honor of the centennial celebration. The concept was to have it look like it did back then, I think it looks identical, save for the small 'bimbo' ad.

Those are not from 1906; they are most likely from 1908 ;) :)

you're right, it was 1908, 1906 was Club Union.
