Let me know if you guys are interested in pushing for a live (Glenn) show to be done at one of the sports bars/pubs in town. We could get the supporters out in mass and get some good press out of it.

I've spoken with Clear Channel...they are open if they can work out the deal w/the venue. (pub/bar)....

Anyone think this would be a good way to support MLS and get the Fans/Supporters group some publicity?

Also, it would just be fun to do!

I'm all for it. It'd be good exposure to help grow the club. Glenn's a good guy, too, so it'd be cool to hang and have a brew.

That's a really awesome idea.

I'd think about Richmond Arms just because if the show is done, most likely evening/night...so you won't get in the way of anyone trying to watch games over in Europe and that's probably the single biggest advocate (bar) in the city for the game. It's worth a shot.

It wouldn't be a bad idea to try and have it at Griff's. The owner there is very interested in helping us out, and this might be a better way for him to drum up business, making him happier and willing to spend more on us.

If a show is going to happen it needs to be NIKO NIKO'S. It is central and is a major sponsor of the show.

I think it's a good idea to have it in a central location, since supports come from all different sides of the city. Griff's and Niko Niko's are both excellent choices.

Well, Griff's or Niko Niko's sounds good to me....they're both just about 2 miles or less south of my place on Washington, so game on! ;)

Remember that Clear Channel is more than likely to OK a place that is contributing to the show i.e. NIKO NIKO's. It is the sure thing.

I guess Taqarias Arandas is out.F the F'in Goats. I have always hated Chivas, and now I only have another reason to hate their mascot.

I'll never go there again, even if our very own Dynamo Girls are putting on the entertainment...

Never been to Griff's or Niko Nikos. As far as distance-wise, it's all about the same to me.

You might want to consider Kick's Indoor on Shepherd! They're a Dynamo sponsor, they have open areas with bleacher seats and they play leagues every night of the week...and they serve beer there! ;) That would be a soccer specific location...and furthermore, you'd be able to grow the supporter group from the players that play in those leagues. Just a thought.

Yeah, I was just over there signing-up for one of the leagues this afternoon and it hit me when she told me that they were one of the club's sponsors. I really think it'd be a hell of a deal over there.
