Why should I be sad? It makes no difference to me one way or another. I just couldn't help but comment on the soap opera in progress.

I'm impressed with the world soccer coverage in the Star Ledger article.

Frank Giase is a hack who gets all his top news by scouring the news wires. He also reports that AEG is bailing on the Metros because of challenges in getting Harrison built and the NJ business community "doesn't like" uncle Phil. In fact, naming rights for Harrison are a part of the Red Bull sale.

Yeah, naming rights for Harrison are part of the deal, but that doesnīt mean diddly squat as far as whether or not Harrison Stadium will actually get built. Every report I have read has mentioned that Red Bullīs purchase might be as high as $50M IF it includes naming rights. I would assume that the $20M for naming rights are contingent on the stadium actually getting built.

There's no way Red Bull wants to deal with that uncertainty, even if the $20M is contingent. If they keep playing in GS, the $30M is wasted, too.
Plus, the article is reporting it specifically as rumor. (And reports two contradictory ones, to boot).
