Now, let's just say this. Our forwards are not world class, FIFA player of the year types. The only one with potential for that is Eddie Johnsons, and he has a long way to go to even be near that top eschon of the best 10 players in the world.

However, let me ask you this though?

Would you want Joe Max Moore over any of these forwards that we have now on the national team?

Would you want Cobi Jones on your team as a forward instead of these guys?

Seriously, our forward crop has more explosive forwards than in 2002 who can finish when give the service and chances. They may not be as exceptional as the likes of Henry, Eto'o and Shevacanko spell is name wrong, sadly)

Mathis at his top form is arguably better than all of these guys in terms of talent (with the exception of Johnson, but Mathis can shoot from distance and ), because Mathis had World Class ability, Bayern Munich wouldn't be interested in him (and neither would Benefica been interested in Johnson either)

so, final comparisons

ALL guys including Wolff over Moore

McBribe of 2006 over McBride of 2002, no question

Wolff is the same player as he was in 2002.

Johnson and Twellman over McBribe 2002

Donovan 06 over Donovan 02

And Mathis only scored one goal for the team while McBribe and Donovan eat bagged a pair.

So there we go, stop criticizng our forwards, we have guys that can score at the highest level.
