The FA can today announce that England will take on Holland in an international on Wednesday 15 November.

The Ajax Arena in Amsterdam will be the venue for the prestigious match which follows on from a string of Euro 2008 qualifiers in September and October and will be England's final international of 2006.

England last faced Holland in a 0-0 draw at Villa Park in February 2005. The two sides have met 16 times to date, England with five victories to Holland's four.

Kick-off time is yet to be confirmed. Ticket arrangements for England supporters will be announced after the World Cup.

Hopefully we play this as World Champions ;)

Holland, Sweden, Denmark, Holland, Sweden, Spain, Denmark, Holland, Sweden, Spain.

You'd think that the world only consisted of half a dozen countries or so!

Why do we keep playing Holland?

I mean they're a great side and all and it's good to play good sides but can't we change it around a bit like Italy, Czech Republic etc..

this is a great idea, if we play the dutch enough times in friendlies with phil neville on the pitch, eventually he'll learn the art of total football and become even more amazing than he already is.

It's always the same teams. damn it. Although Holland is an amazing team I'd rather see England play a team like Portugal for a friendly, those games are almost always exciting. Or Germany, there hasn't been a game between those two in quite a while. Scotland would be a damn good game. There hasn't been a true derby for a while.

Where the hell are you from? Columbus, Ohio. Last time I checked that wasn't England. Your frigging hypocritical git. you're acting like a prejudiced bastard. So because I live in Canada I can't support a country where my parents come from? I see how it is. Stop posting stupid shit like that.

And FYI Canada beat Austria 2-0 in Austria, and tied the US 0-0 recently.

Stop hating on me because I live in Canada. half the posters on Big soccer don't live in England.

1) I live in Columbus OH, I am not from Columbus OH.
2) Tied the US Z team recently you mean.
3) Learn to spell. "You're a frigging hypocritical git" not "Your a frigging hypocritical git" Might be useful for the rest of your life.
4) You are not English. I don't give a monkeys where you parents are from.
5) I am "hating on you" because uou have been making a complete nuisance of yourself everywhere.

Much like you're doing right now. This is about England vs. Holland so stop making this into a "all Canadians have no right to support England" thread

And it's spelt "you", you should learn it sometime. It may just come in handy the rest of your life.

Go make youself usefule elsewhere. There is no need for stuff like this. Especially in this thread.
