yeah, they're finely getting it close to right. thankfully no more un-capped fringe euro's or un-capped mls flavors of the month.

sorry all, but its clear herc is not getting consideration. maybe he can hang with gavin, feilhaber, etc and have world cup parties.

ya this list is for once real close to how i see it too. course it is only 2 months till the roster would be finalized anyways. they rate spector higher than some people here i imagine, but other than that its about right. good list

looks good, except 5 central defenders is one too many..

Not with this line-up, for two reasons: (1) Both Frankie and Spector back-up both RB and LB, which contributes significant depth there and (2) 5 CBs is the necessary number to play a 3-man back line.

No, just their usual consensus, which makes very little sense other than getting the guys correct that anyone could get.

On 5 central defenders, doesn't Spector provide cover there? Mastroeni also?

thats a perfect lineup, (barring injury) thats who we're taking to europe, book it.

I do think 5 central defenders is too many myself, but no way Pope gets left at home. Or the Europe four either.

With two months to go, I think they are getting pretty close to the roster. A couple of points:

1. They rightly have Hahnemann ahead of Howard but I notice alot of people on these boards want Howard at #2. Do you really think he would be #2 on the depth chart if he was sitting on the bench at say, West Ham, rather than ManUre? Marcus has a load of clean sheets and is in-form.

2. I would say Pope is nearly a lock and Berhalter is close..........I think if Gibbs proves he is healthy in the next 6 weeks or so then he goes instead of Beerholder. I doubt 5 Central Defenders make the trip.

3. Another possiblity is Berhalter/Gibbs going instead of Bocanegra. Boca probably makes the trip but keep an eye on his up and down form for Fulham. They have an outside possiblity of a relegation fight and if that's the case then Boca is in trouble. It might be heresy on here but it is something to consider........Bocanegra is sometimes a bit rash.

1. Howard PFA goalie of the year what? I'd like to see if Man Utd would've made it to the Carling Cup Final if marcus would've been in goal, woul've been a whole different story.

2. Agreed. Berhalter plays like he has cinder blocks tied to is ankles. But I would put Gibbs ahead of Pope.

3. Fulham will not lose this season. Though the next four games look shaky facing all top level teams, considering there recent form despite their last game, they should be able to draw a couple of those games. But the rest are very possible wins, barring the strike pair at the top comes through. With Boca finally being able to get his head out of his arse and putting together some consistent play he should be a lock at a spot as either a starter or a back-up.

Howard's award is ancient history for Arena's purposes. He really has to go on current form and in my view it is not much of a contest.

With regard to Boca........I am glad we have until mid-May to pick the team. I hope he starts every game and plays well. I think the best pairing they have is Goma and Boca..........leave Knightmare on the bench.
