Thats was when Australia beat England 3-1 at Upton Park.

Good game that...... lets all remember that assuming that England might progress through the group stages of the World Cup- they may meet us again in the latter stages of the comp.

A similar result on the cards???

lol- why - apparently you guys might end up with him- so he's actually relevant for English fans......

although for that game it was Frank Farina- best game he's ever managed

This thread will be closed when Prenn sees it. BTW it was at Upton Park not Craven Cottage

why would it get closed? its a legitimate topic for English fans.

they might get our manager, and the result isn't made up and could happen again in the World Cup assuming England make it out of the group stages....

I think its very worthy of a topic....

why would it get closed?Because you're like trolling?

see above- not trolling- legitimately asking- and putting it out there.....

sure the thread title is provocative but thats to attract people in, so we can discuss as adults whether there could be a similar result if Australia play England in the World Cup.

now instead of whinging like a pom- how about you answer my topic?

If England were to play Australia at the world cup it would be at the semi-final at the very earliest and both teams being there is unlikley so you'll just have to wait for another friendly to come around :p :D

i worked that out too- and yes that would mean Australia- as second qualifiers behind Brazil would probably play either Italy or the Czechs, so we aren't likely to progress past the round of 16- but you never know.... ie Turkey & Korea last time......

an English - Australia semi- I'd like to see that- it'd make up for the ashes fluke too.....!!!

This thread should remain open, just because dumping on convicts is a lot of fun and this is as easy an oppertunity as a short-pitched ball outside off from Brett Lee.

It shows how flat out stupid Australians are about football that they actually think a friendly game matters. God, even Americans know about friendly games and their rank insignificance.

It will be great fun when Australia crash out of the first round sans a point and Hiddink leaves, sending your sorry lot back to football's gulag where it belongs. The Australian community will yawn - it's not like they've ever given a crap outside of beating England in a meaningless friendly and actually qualifying - and go back to aerial ping-pong and groundshagging.

the tard who started this thread actually believes we will both meet in the semi final and that they will get past Brazil.
see what living thousands of miles from the nearest western civilisation (apart from NZ) does for these inbreds.
they are about 5 years behind fashion and everything else .Burberry is still fashionable in australia.

I wager this poster is closely related to goaldrush
