When I hit the info button on my digital remote, it said something like "A show profiling stars of soccer from around the world." Anyone else get anything like that?
I mean, thanks to FourFourTwo and Bigsoccer, I knew it was a soap opera, basically. I would've been disappointed.
I only watched a few snippets, so sorry for not being able to add anything else.
I thought it was great, I can't wait to see what happens with the fifty grand. Also I think it's only a matter of time before the brunette lunch lady hooks up with the guy that has a broken leg.

I thought it was great too. Seeing they are youths, you know they (or him, the ex-Liverpool lad) will do something foolish like spending money on video games, CDs, DVDs, TV and VCR/DVD player. What would you do if someone out of the blue handed you 50 Grand?

Yeah. That's a match made in heaven. :D
How about the club owner's wife? What a pampered bimbo or "trophy" wife (if you prefered). Also when was the last time an English player went on loan to Galatasaray? Now Hell will freeze over. :D

yeah I watched it ...
and didn't he already spend the money on all that stuff (video games, CDs, DVDs) ...
that liverpool guy is annoying but has provided some funny moments ...
when the youth team arrives at the stadium, "this ain't the kop then is it?"
during the game, "Owen would have buried that"

Les Ferdinand.
Ok, he was at Besiktas, not Galatasaray, but you get the point.

You talking about Monday Bandele going to Galatasaray? The character named Dean Horlock (sp?) is on loan to Galatasaray, but his wife Patricia, left Turkey because she wanted him back in England.

And who is the brunette lunch lady? The character IIRC is named Jill and she's cute. :D

Are the two that come on Wednesday the same as the Tuesday episodes? I'm never around on Tuesday night and I'm really interested in catching this show.
yep they are the same.
We must find out the name of the Chairman's wife, she is the fittest chick on TV.
anyone else think that the girl that came at the end to see, I think his name is neil, is preggers?

IIRC, his name is Leon, but I think you're right about the preggers part.
That would explain why he's looking to make a little extra cash on the side. I think I know where the rest of that 50 grand is going...

Yep. It's too bad Leon didn't bring his "A game" to the match with that distraction. And Billy, being the selfish jackass that he is, wasn't to happy about the money Leon gave to Claire.
Speaking of Billy, I really, really, really, really now hate him more. He goes around joking at his teammates and puts itching powder on the coach's jacket BEFORE THE MATCH and the next thing he goes on a row with Leon, his teammates and the referee. I'm glad the coach (a dead ringer for Gordon Strachan mind you) chewed him out after the match.
Do you think Patricia should go back to Dean after what he did to her in Turkey? What do you think?
Plus, do you (and be honest here :D ) sacrifice or give up time for football/soccer for your wife / girlfriend if she doesn't like football/soccer and it's not happy with the lifestyle that you're living in.
