You can now create your 2006 MFLS team at MFLS.com (http://www.mfls.com).

To join the RevMFLS division, the password is: tnt20

I will ask Mark Wheeler to bump our max division size from the standard 25 to 75, like we did last year.

Good luck, everyone!

If you have any questions, please let me know.

Because thats not how you win, you need a mix of players from all teams. No Ed is not going to win the title I am.

Uh, I was making fun of DC and LA. I'll be more specific next time.;)

I'm in...

But I have Shalrie playing left mid, 2 Gals and 1 Red Bull in the starting 11 and a DCU on the bench...

I'm looking for that last place trophy:p

Wow! First 24 hours and we have 33 teams already!

Yes, the asterisks are foreign players. You are limited to 5 foreign players on your 19-man roster (up from 4 last year).

Up to 39 teams in division now.

Nice to see that the coach no longer counts against the per team limit. Now there is NO excuse for disloyalty (not to mention the fact that the Revs are now a winning team) so expect merciless taunting if Nicol is not your coach!

I have 4 revs and tried to select SN and it said it would exceed the per team limit???

That's not true according to MFLS rules

http://www.mfls.com/index.php?Page=rules&SubPage=rosters

Each MFLS team may have at most 4 players from the same MLS team (including the coach).

Somehow I misread that. Perhaps just in my hope for such a change. Indeed, I also tried to do 4 Revs + Nicol and was unable.

The new rule allowing for flexible formation for $10 seems worthwhile although somewhat limited. A team still must have a GK and at least 3 D, 3 M, and 2 F (no more than 3). Thus, I believe all the possible formations other than the standard 3-4-3 (most often the optimal MFLS formation anyway) are 3-5-2, 4-4-2, 4-3-3, and 5-3-2 Defenders tend to gather few points, but the balance of Midfielders and Forwards could be helpful given salary cap and World Cup considerations.
