Could somebody please tell me WHY??? we haven't been able to see the architects design of this project.

Because it's proposed.

There might be some artist's renderings, but you don't always get the architects or engineers involved in proposed projects.

They must have something in their presentations to summit county officials.

Why the big secret ? Is someone going to steal their idea ? Is this project not for potential customers?

You're not the "potential customer" - the "county officials" are.

Renderings are meaningless marketing tools. Honestly, I wouldn't worry about it. The key is getting drawings and plans after someone agrees to build something.

Potentially spending $1000.00+ a year at this complex qualifies me as a potential customer. Does it not ?

You're not the current customer.

They're trying to sell the complex idea - not sell stuff at the complex.

The bottom line is, without us (soccer fans/potential customers) their complex idea will not work.
All I'm saying is show us something, anything.

Why?

I don't understand what showing you a made up representation accomplishes.

It doesn't help them sell the project.

In fact, it would likely just lead to incessant internet board whining over what the drawings contained or didn't contained - despite the fact that they'd just be rough meaningless sketches. I mean, people would be pouring over the sketches analyzing it for things like roofs, stages, etc. - and they'd be doing it over a meaningless drawing.

Ok, you're right. I just might not show them anything either if they build this complex. I'll keep showing it to Columbus and THE CREW like I have been for the past 8 years.

I understand what you're saying Andy, I just thought that they would be past that stage by now, since they're talking about ground breaking in a few months. You need a little more then just a made up representation if your breaking ground. No?
I do think that your user title, is funny.
