Not quite Revolution news but there is an interesting article about the current Sox owner's attempts to reach out to their fans to make their gameday experience even better. This from a team that routinely sells out its games.

A quote from the article:
The team's new owners say that, despite the Red Sox's strong record of sellouts, the ambassadors and other new marketing efforts are needed to keep fans coming back. They can't forget that only 11,000 people sat in the bleachers on Sept. 28, 1960, the day Ted Williams blasted a home-run in his final at-bat.

I think the Krafts could learn something from this.

Attended a game the other night and I have to say the whole attitude has changed there. For as long as I can remember, the ushers there have been jerks but now they let people go down near the field prior to the game and they're real tolerant of kids. In fact, they're reaching out to them.

Things have definitely changed for the better under this new ownership.

That's the good news.

The bad news is the $4.00 cokes, the $5.00 beers, the $60 tickets for box seats, the $20.00 parking, the overpriced souvenirs, and the fact that the place now looks like one giant billboard as the owners try to raise revenue from wherever they can so they can recoup their investment.
