I don't know about all of you but it makes me sick to my stomach, seeing results lately- Our quakes beating chivas 2-1. our quakes in houston period makes me sick. I hope not a single fan shows up to the games.
F-+K MLS. and most of all F*-K AEG, those sorry bunch of ass lickers.

I love how they had to change the name to Dynamo! :D

How stupid can you get?! Trying to attract Mexican and Hispanic fans, then name the team after the date Tejas rebelled against Mexico. Freaking genius there!

Yeah, I hope that attendance in Houston lags, but if I had to bet, I'd bet they do well. First season and all. We'll see how good this looks in three to five years time.

But what I hope most of all is that Quakesfans avoid MLS like the freaking plague. MLS has to feel the pain of losing a bunch of die-hard fans. Otherwise, they won't have a lot of incentive to put another team in San Jose.

QUAKES FOREVER!!

It is amazing how many people will still support this organization considering the callousness, and spite that took place in the move.

AEG was willing to deal with Cal-State Northridge in a stadium deal with the Home Despot Center. MLS is now fostering a deal with a university in New Jersey.

Where were the "legitimate" deals with SJSU without AEG trying to control booking rights to a State Universities' property? Now, had AEG chosen to build a whole new facility next to or in conjunction with Spartan Stadium, perhaps...but we'll never know.

Sensitive people, I didn't mean to make any funnies on your hollowed grounds of sorrow and pain. I retract my statement which obviously was the equivallent of making fun of one's dead dog. I believe San Jose will rise from its ashes and once again have a team.

I get your anger at losing your team but why be hostile towards the league in general? It is the only decent league we got beside the USL-1 and it may swing back into San Jose one day soon. Again, I understand your anger but fostering hate towards a league that negotiated and found too many roadblocks to get to where they wanted is a waste of time. The league brought you entertainment for a decade and found its current situation unbearable so they withdraw and set up shop elsewhere while trying to figure out the right way to get it placed in SOCAL. Venting anger at me doesn't make the Quakes get back to San Jose any faster as is ignoring MLS and hoping for its failure, etc...

F---ing A straight! And shouldn't they?
From your additional post, I assume that you have swallowed the AEG spiel, hook, line and sinker.

Says so a guy based in Puerto Rico. See the highlight above. Shows how much of an understading of the problem he has, before venturing unsolicitated blabber. This is one reason why I'm very careful commenting on forums of other teams, if I don't fully understand the local perspective.

If this doesn't define trolling, I don't know what does.

No, you don't get my anger or you wouldn't post stupid stuff in OUR forum, you cheese eating idiot!

The league didn't move OUR team, freaking AEG did. The league stood by and let it happen. AEG made no effort to keep the team in San Jose, they had an offer from SJSU to renegotiate the deal at Spartan Stadium saving them up to 30% on the rent. They didn't even answer the letter. AEG sucks!

So instead they moved to Houston, incurring the cost of moving the team. Plus they have to pay to resurface the field at somewhere between $400 and $900k. But we are all supposed to believe that AEG/MLS will make more money in Houston?!

And I should continue to love MLS why exactly?! Because I'm a glutton for punishment? Because I love to be treated like crap by an organization that I have supported fervently? Because deep down I'm more of a USNats fan than a Quakes fan?! I'm not by the way. Club first dude. I hope the Nats do really well in Germany, but I still bleed blue.

MLS won't get another nickle from me until they put a team back in San Jose. I'm prepared to wait a long, long time before I renew my MLS Direct Kick package, or buy anything from MLS. Same goes for AEG.

Piss off, jerk!

Ok, to be fair with you...

If you've got time, go through all the past threads over the last years of the total disregard for the support of the team members or the fans of the Earthquakes shown by both MLS and AEG.

MLS and Garber's animosity towards San Jose goes back many years. That was most evident when Garber had to present the Quakes with the Western Conference Championship back in 2001.

The discussions are here, you just need to find them. We've been through this so many times...to have you come in here without any reference and piss in the punch was not taken with much respect.

What? Fans who bought season tickets for some of the crappiest teams that MLS has ever put on the field, and came back for more? I was there, in the Casbah, with a bag over my head, while Khodadad Azizi was strolling around the center circle and shoving refs to get red cards, and I renewed my season tickets with pleasure.

I did everything MLS could ever ask a fan to do. Their response was to let AEG move the team away. Bitter? Hell yeah.

I'm closing this thread because it attracts the jacknuts on both sides. Any problems, PM me.
