I want him on th squad. I still remember him fondly from the last WC - didn't he hit the post in the final against Brazil? I am not too fond of Asomoah ... he seems to be extremely uneffective and harmless as a striker.
Thank you---"Kickinthe head"---join me--Wolf-Balla Basti, Zwanzigoetzel & a host of others---who can see NOTHING---absolutely nothing --of value that this--Asamoah guy, offers---to the team. He just clogs things up--opens no space-creates NO pace----just a total waste! Please----e-mail Klinsi on this---PM me--I have his e-mail.
Klinsi is trying to "show the world"----this "new..."-"German"" team! Thanks---Wotan

Ok, but you just attacked a poster personally. I could (and probably should) card you for that.

Thanks for the offer, Wotan. I don't think I'll be emailing Klinsmann anytime soon. I truly have no faith in his foresight or intelligence. Any trainer who remote-trains a team that's performing subpar just a couple of months before the World Cup must truly be an idiot.
I also don't understand how he can't see that players which are underperforming constantly (e.g., Huth) won't ever be living up to the imaginary potential in his mind. Also, Kahn's too old and too prone to make mistakes.
There's no doubt in my mind that Germany won't win the World Cup. Not with this trainer, not with this team.

I still think Germany will do very well this WC- posibly winning the whole thing & shocking everyone. Never underestimate Germany!

True dat, Wotan, I'm German so I know what I am talking about. :)
Still, the team is playing at an almost amateurish level. Can you imagine the kind of damage Brazil or Argentina are going to wreak on our defense?
The first half of the US:Germany game really left me with a sinking feeling ...

I do not have many chances of seeing Kiessling play. May be once or more often on news hi-lites when he scores. He is very tall, and reminds me of a similar player, Peter Crouch of Liverpool.
Peter Crouch is the worst forward ever
