Since we warble on and on about Quakes issues here, yet don't necessarily know who we all are, I propose a face-to-face get-together at an informal venue near you. How many of us have gone to ClubQuakes pre-game events and sort of wondered who is who in regards this online forum? Got an idea for ya...Earthquakes Fans Party!

Since we can't meet at a Quakes game any time soon:( , why not do so in one of our own places? We can certainly do this right here (my company has insisted on holding their friggin' X-Mas party here for 8 years running), but if you have any other ideas, please post 'em. A Friday night would be best IMO, but put forth your views. 'Twould make for an interesting evening if SSV folks could make the rounds about these parts as well. We have classic Quakes videos here, and will have quality refreshments and food as well.

Why the hell not? Let's do it, especially before the MLS season starts. I'm aiming at a late March Friday date. What the hell...my house is yours. Right near 280/880. Tell me what you think. Or better - Be There!:D

SJSharks.com Chat Room has done this for awhile - but they do it on a Saturday/Sunday afternoon at a park (IE - Vasona), potluck style. Good times.

I think Club Quake said something about doing a tailgate party at the first Frog's game. There will probably be more than a few BSers there. We would be able to kill three birds at once, show support to both the Frog's and Club Quake, and a chance for BSers to meet.

Very nice offer of your home! Depends on the date...

Yeah, A few Frogs games first, then revisit this plan. Imagine that - live soccer, a little over a month away. In San Jose! So is that bottle of fancy supercharged Russian vodka going to make a return CQ appearance before the home opener?

Then "punch" will have to do. Maybe a Red Bull/Austrian booze concoction should make a debut in (dis)honor of the Metrostars saga.

The big issue at the PAL stadium is beer... fair enough... Have to do a post game beer run, though obviously tailgating/pub hopping before the game is much better...

Maybe a Quakesfans getogether for the Ruckus, Seals, Sol (Sonoma County), Rooks (Chico), or Samba (Salinas) would be in order.

Been busy as of late--hopefully I'll be back soon!

Shakey's at King/Story pregame pitchers, pies, and soccer on the tube, if all goes well.

I might be sold on pre-game pizza mon!

So as long as it's the Premiership/Bundesliga/La Liga/Serie A, and not MLS (so as long as LA is losing! :D)

Don't forget the Earthquake stop...where Cerritos, Arturo Alvarez & Ching signed autographs.

Tacos Carbon is right at King & Story. Other side of H-101, first shopping center on the left hand side.

Tacos Carbon Is an awesome taqueria place with great margaritas and a 12 piece Mariachi Band every Friday & Saturday nights. They have a "Don Francisco" type guy doing the MC which is kinda of cute, dorky and makes you feel like you are on Mexican TV.

Its a great place to have fun.
