Everton visit the Hammers this Saturday.
West Ham has only a so-so home record: 7-1-5 (W-D-L), so perhaps we have a chance.
Unfortunately, my guess is that we're looking at a 2-0 loss.

Awesome - you've picked up my pessimism.
I don't have a good feeling about this one either. But I never do. :)

How was Germany?

Germany good, Belgium bad. The US game was fun and I drank lots of beer though!

Were gonna get mullered against the hammers. They pass the ball well and if Wei and Stubbs are at the back then i think their strikers will have a field day. Well play boring football sometimes even with a flat back 10. TBH its gonna be a long day for me i have to get up at 6am then get on an official coach to the game at 8am and ill only arrive back just before midnight. I hope to God Allah Budda (im keeping an open mind i want to cover all bases) that we at least play a smidgen of attractive football.
WHU 3-0 Everton

Oh and apparently we're down 1-0. Harewood scored for the Hammers.

Not a bad result for us for this game. I'm gonna see if there's a torrent of the game so I can watch it.

Great showing by the Toffees.
There're going to make a believer of me yet. :)
I'm impressed by how well Beattie's been doing lately -- he actually looks like he may be worth the 6 million we paid for him.

Yeah, I agree. Beattie's really growing on me, now that he got his fat ass in shape and quit headbutting.

I caught Match of the Day last night and it looks like we played our hearts out and deserved to win. West Ham were solid in the first half, but we had several chances that could have gone in - including one that hit the side netting (Beattie) and a missed Davies header.

I have good reason to hate Belgium right now. I just got back from Germany, with a stop in Belgium. We were in Brussells on the train getting ready to come home and some jackass swiped my bag that contained my camera, my iPod and a ton of stuff that's a royal pain to replace. They got well over $1,000 worth of stuff. Grrr.

Sorry haven't been around here for awhile so no chance to post...but good result against West Ham, a tough side to break down...we got a veritable offensive explosion against them (2 goals!! ). Nuno Valente I heard played his best game for Everton, good for him. And good for Beattie and Osman too for scoring.

Thanks.
It never ceases to amaze me that people still follow yanks abroad so dilligently.
You'd think they didn't know we have a Division 1 league in the USA.
