Does anyone have experience with travel agencies like SoccerTravel.com, PrimeSport.com, and SportsTraveler.net? How reliable are they?
I'm debating between purchasing tickets directly from a broker like RazorGator and making my own hotel and transportation arrangements VERSUS purchasing one of the WC packages from these travel agencies which would include tickets, hotel and transportation (but not airfare). Note that price is not an issue since both options would cost around the same.
I'm inclined to go with one of these travel agencies simply out of convenience -- having someone else make all the arrangements. But wanted to survey the folks here to make sure no one has heard negative comments regarding any of these travel agencies.
Thanks.

I've never used them but SoccerTravel has an extremely good reputation, that said I'd bet you can do it cheaper by looking around for bargains and booking your hotel reservations yourself (although this late in the game, perhaps not).

Thanks for the quick response.
In my limited research, I found that the price difference between doing it myself versus going through an agency is marginal. The fact that it's late in the game and I'm also in need of 2 double occupancy rooms (4 people in my party) may have something to do with it.
I, too, have heard good comments regarding SoccerTravel. But what about SportsTraveler.Net?

I heard that too. Unfortunately, it seems like no one has heard (or dealt with) the agencies which claim to have tickets & packages available. Hopefully, that's merely a coincidence

Just wanted to let people know soccertravel.com still has packages. I checked with them April 28th. They are sold out of certain games/teams(England, Brasil, Germany, Mexico etc) but the city packages are still available. You just wont get all the games in that city if one of the games is already sold out.

SoccerTravel - formerly SoccerVacations - has been the official travel partner of USSF for many years.
Disclaimer: I'll be providing photography for them during the World Cup.

My trip is being done via soccertravel. They seem to have everything going well. Id recommend them.

I booked tickets for USA matches via razorgator and did all else separately. I was able to get 1 extra match NED-ARG CATII in for the same price as the USA follow your team 4*/CATII package from razorgator.
Try contacting the hotel/hotels directly rather than use the net. Prices are sometimes lower. I am basing out of Frankfurt in one hotel however, and travelling to the matches by train.
