I'm actually pobably going to head to Lowe's as the stuff HD hasn't been as good lately. Better selection at Lowe's. Anyway, I'll see what I can do!;) Still getting the house ready to sell?
Sadly for the Atlanta-based business I agree with you. Still find enough stuff at HD to keep me coming back there, but we prefer Lowes right now as well.
Hope to have the house officially on the market in two weeks. (I'll let you folks know when the pics are up... wait a moment...
Damn! All right, this is not how I'd prefer to offer a first image of myself but...
Back in '03 I redid the web site for the office. As a perk I added a hidden page for the family. The hosts of the site changed and someone else has been maintaining the site, but apparently my old stuff remains! The pics are awful scans, but this was all a rough test. (Please note, the resolution of the pictures is awful!) So, to see (unclearly) GriffinGunner in bunny ears, click on the link! http://www.mtrdc.org/juliasgarden.htm

Hey we've had plenty of Phish threads that made me yawn so... :p
Cannon:
thank you for getting me into a phishy mood today.

currently listening to: 3.1.03 greensboro, nc (p.s. - i was there ;) )
Set I: Chalk Dust Torture, The Moma Dance, Foam, Lawn Boy, Character Zero > The Divided Sky, Mountains in the Mist, Waves, Sample in a Jar
Set II: Rock and Roll, Wilson > Piper, Also Sprach Zarathustra > Wolfman's Brother -> Boogie on Reggae Woman, Wading in the Velvet Sea, Run Like an Antelope, Carolina
Encore: First Tube > You Enjoy Myself -> Proud Mary
Show Notes: Instead of emerging from behind the piano with his own microphone for Lawn Boy, Page came front stage and used Trey's microphone and stand. The move prompted a raucous response from the crowd. A portion of the Piper jam was based around the chords to Oye Como Va. Trey subseqeuently teased Oye Como Va, as well as Another One Bites the Dust, during YEM. The YEM vocal jam included a Daniel tease. Proud Mary was performed a capella (including renderings of the musical breaks) to conclude the vocal jam. Only one other version of Proud Mary is known – a full-band version at the first ever Phish show on December 2, 1983 (1,133 shows). The post-show music to close the first post-hiatus tour was particularly inspiring – "Let's Stay Together."

Thank you. At least you now have a face to go with the name. Ears, too.
The fellow Playmate in the photo is our friend Bob. He and his wife have an old farm outside of town and throw the best parties. He's great with a grill, she keeps the wine flowing, and they're both so casual about everything that people feel relaxed from the moment they arrive. We're going to miss them the most when we leave.
I'll try to arrange some before and after photos of the house and garden, something I'm trying to do for the sale. The back yard used to be gravel because the owner kept a lot of vehicles and a boat in the back and didn't want to mow around them! It's small, but it's great and hopefully the new owners will provide the same TLC.

Anyone else stymied about just the idea of Bolton's boss heading up the England National side? I guess it's all that flowing play, tactical skill and sheer hustle he gets out of the players...

Big Sam won't get the job. Nobody could stand listening to him and his excuses for years to come.

Uh, can we talk about the NHL again? I stilll think Gordie Howe is the greatest player ever, and Gretzky is a little bitch. ;)

i'm still going to have to go with the Blackhawks ownership. none of their home games are on TV, and that is just the tip of the iceberg. they fired there freaking coach during the lockout!

I was going to counter with the Clippers or AZ Cardinals, but you might be right. This is Chicago, not a smaller market. There's no other hockey team in town to compete against, and they are genuine hockey fans there. No reason they shouldn't be striving for championships with the same push as places like Dallas and Denver, let alone nearby Detroit. Hmmmmm...
