Looking at Friday, it seems that unless I want to get there @ 10 in the morning, the earliest I can get a flight in on Southwest is 7:50 PM, which gets me to Midway @ 9:50 PM. I don't suppose anyone would still be sober enough to come get me?

Also, I just downloaded the "single of the week" on iTunes. The group is called Nine Black Alps and the single is Cosmopolitan. Not bad.
Yeah, I pretty much always grab the free single. This one's pretty good.

what's up with midway airport? is it too much of a schelp? I found a great price (135 + tax). any help would be much appreciated.
I'm flying into Midway on Southwest. I think I get in around 5:30 pm on Friday.

take the early flight, i'll tell you how to get to the GLobe, you can just go there nad get a head start!

when I got home from London it only took about an hour to go from baggage to my apartment, that includes wait times, and I had to wait for the O'Hare Monorail to take me to the terminal that has the El stop.
to correspond with me coming home from work, anytime from 12:30 to almost 3. If you have a later flight I'll just go to the gym after my half day and then drive home.

Ah, no.;) But you can meet up with us. Sounds like you need to get in early, just to make sure the beer is ready for when we get there!

Saturday late morning/early afternoon: ArseAm vs ManUSA grudge match
Saturday evening: ArseAm & ManUSA post game piss up
Sunday morning: ManUre v Arsenal @ the Globe

Saturday: Footie match, beer, then a bit more beer, and meetup for drinks later that night.
Sunday: Beer, Arsenal win, some more beer.

each train ride on the El costs $2, regardless of how far you go. there are machines where you put in $10 or $20 and you get a card that you scan to get in each station. I think transfers are $0.25.

1.) Flight - $157.00
2.) Since Dan's been kind enough to put me up for the weekend, just some beer to thank him. - $20.00
3.) Food - $40 - 60
4.) Beer - $0 (covered by Cam)
5.) El - $10
Less than $250, not bad! :p

you don't have to pay me anything. Armanetti's (liqour store) near my apt even sells Victory Hop Devil, i'm going to pick up a 6er or two.
as for food, if you want to spend less we can go to the Jewel Osco near me and get some frozen pizzas. $2 a pop.

we should drive to the footy match. if we go to Mystic Celt or another Southport bar (i vote for Messner's, lots of girls, some are crazy!) we can walk back to my place.
and of couse the Globe is across the street.

yes it is.
i walked by on saturday on my way home, it was crowded. they have a singer playing the acoustic guitar on saturdays starting at 10. the front part is small, but there are some big tables in the back.
