I ended up getting the new Destroyer album, Wolf Parade's Apologies to the Queen Mary and Bruce live in London '75. Been listening today and I must say, I'm quite pleased with my purchases. :D

Went to the "Battle of the Bands" Final In LR on Friday. One of my friends was playing. I'm such a geek. I was at the front, by the stage, next to about 20 scantily-clad girls that were gyrating and shrieking, and what am I doing? . . . playing with my cell phone, recording video and audio and taking pics. LOL I'm hopeless. Not to mention that I left at the nerdily responsible hour of 11:00 to get home at a decent hour, only to park on the interstate for over an hour for some wreck.

Bad weekend!!!! Anything that could go wrong did! LOL

Anyway, is anyone still planning on going to Chicago next month? Steph is your friend coming with you? DING has put up their prices thru the end of April now if you like to fly Southwest.

nothing wrong with midway

but no pick up from the airport, as it is way out of the way on the drive home from work. real easy to get to my place though, take the Orange line to the Loop and transfer to the Brown Line and get off at Irving Park Rd. not sure how long that would take, hour 15 minutes maybe.

when I got home from London it only took about an hour to go from baggage to my apartment, that includes wait times, and I had to wait for the O'Hare Monorail to take me to the terminal that has the El stop.

to correspond with me coming home from work, anytime from 12:30 to almost 3. If you have a later flight I'll just go to the gym after my half day and then drive home.
