DC United v Metrostars
Sunday, April 2
5:00pm
RFK Stadium

DC United starts the 2006 season against the Metrostars on April 2. The Screaming Eagles Ticket Mistress is open for business and waiting to hear from you!

Tickets are $20 if ordered in advance ($24 on the day of the game). If you have a group of 20 or more, the price drops to $18 per ticket. Good seats are available in all 3 sections of the Nest (132, Nest Lite; 133 and the rowdy 134), but they will go fast.

Send an e-mail to tickets@screaming-eagles.com with the number of seats you want, where you want to sit/stand, and how you are paying. If you are paying by credit card, please include your name as it appears on the card, the number and expiration date, and your phone number.

SE members may use the COD option, but any orders not picked up before the SE ticket booth closes will be forfeited. Not only will you owe us money for the tickets, but you'll have to buy new tickets from the regular United ticket windows. As you know, Nest seats are only sold by the Screaming Eagles, so if you are late, you'll be sitting elsewhere. We're sorry about the change in procedure, but we took a few too many hits last year to continue this courtesy.

If, on the other hand, you arrive late but paid for your tickets with a credit card, you can go to the DC United customer service window at the main box office. Your tickets will be waiting for you there.

You may also place an order by calling the SE ticket hotline (202-544-6744, voice mailbox #1). Please leave your name and e-mail address in addition to the information listed above.

All orders are confirmed by e-mail. If you don't receive an acknowledgment, it's possible that your message was not received. Please try again.

Cheers,
Nicole Gara

Don't lie Lonnie, we know you don't have that many friends. Is Lisa bringing 2 other people? ;)

Well, that is definitely true - but I do have family visiting for game # 2, maybe #3, maybe both :) They live in Justin Mapp's hometown ;)

Lesson 32 from How to Buy Friends and Keep Them:

32) Sporting Events

Nothing gets people to hang out with you more than tickets to the hottest sporting events in town. When you show up to a place where people hang out (i.e. see lesson 3 Places to Meet Real People), be sure to have 4 or more tickets to sporting events to bribe people to voluntarily be in your presence. These passes ensure that you will be seen with more people who are going to feel obligated to at least talk to you for a short while. You can also volunteer to drive people to the event, which will make you appear popular as they step from your vehicle in full view of everyone. Remember if you are people's ticket connection, they will call you up to go to the next game!

Anyone wanna clue me in on the differences between the Nest, Nest Lite, and the rowdy 134?

Anyone wanna clue me in on the differences between the Nest, Nest Lite, and the rowdy 134?

the Nest is 134 -- all singing all standing all the time, no throwing beer in the air ( try 135 and BB for that)

Nest Lite is next door in 133 --standing and singing for those next to the Nest but farther away and back in the diagonal corner some sitting and singing and the occasional just sitting and smiling.

Nice. So, it's a nice spectrum of laid back to rowdy. I see you guys have a nicely diversified product that aims to please all forms of customers.

Section 134 is the most rowdy (all standing, all cheering and you may hear words your mother wouldn't want you saying). Most of 133 is very similiar to 134 however the closer you get to 132 (Nest Lite) the less rowdy it is. 132 is some cheering but not standing, it's for people who want to be near the rowdy people but not necessarily participate all the time. If you have more questions the SE ticket mistress can help- tickets@screaming-eagles.com (note she has been out of town and will be replying and processing requests tomorrow so hang tight to hear back)

The Nest is nearly sold out, I saw Nicole at the lunch and she said she has a handful of seats left so if you want one you need to contact her immediately.

Is the $20/24 for members and non-members alike?

Does she ever post here?

Like which section(s) still has seats available 132, 133, or 134?

I had to add another ticket to my order last night (7 seats), and she thought she only had 1 or 2 left in section 134 then. Unless she's done some shuffling, I wonder if 134 is sold out now?

Nicole has 7 seats left in 132. When they go that's it, we're not expanding the Nest for this game (it's too late and we'd have standers and sitters mixing and would cause problems). If you want a Nest ticket get moving.
