The guy can fly.......I also think he has more skill at this point than Marcus Bent did. Much more potential also. I would love to see this happen.

In a recent interview he said that he believes that the MLS still has a lot to offer him and he would probably stay longer. He also said that when he worked out with Man U he wasnt happy in England.

But if he leaves KC then I would love for him to end up in Everton rather than any other European club.

Agreed...I tihnk we could use him.

But I still think somehow he's overrated...but he is a strapping youngster but I just don't know we should take a risk on this lad. He might just become an even lazier version of Marcus Bent. :-/

I still think somehow he's overrated...
Fans of the U.S. Mens National Team think very highly of Johnson, but many FC Dallas fans think he's a bit overrated.

He played for Dallas for 5 years and didn't accomplish much in his first 3 years with the club (in his defense, he was just a teenager). Eddie did well in 2004 and in the beginning of 2005, but ended up missing most of last season with a foot injury.

I suspect that most FC Dallas fans rated him about 4th in importance to our team, and weren't really that dismayed when he was traded to Kansas City:

#1: Carlos Ruiz
#2: Richard Mulrooney
#3: Ronnie O'Brien
#4: Eddie Johnson

He is no sure thing, of course few if any are, but I think he has the talent to flourish with the right team and talent around him.

I think he is much better than Bent already.

It is still just a huge rumor anyway.
