This is an interesting idea. (http://nynj.matchnight.com/metroindex.cfm?page=ARTICLE&show=316) It seems like all the beer is bottled though and about as expensive as if they really played in New York. I wonder if we'd be allowed to it see it?

Brad will take care of this when he wins the Mega-Millions tonight. He will open a Rev pub..

Haha, that would be amazing.
There's some rumblings on their board that is to prepare Metro fans for Harrison, where due the Euro-style/SuperClub atmosphere there might not be tailgating at all...

Not only is the beer expensive, but the food is pricey too.
The club/pub was already there, they are going to dress it up for the Mutts games. It's only open to Mutts season ticket holders and special groups. I would love to take a look and/or throw rocks at it on 4/8.
I don't want to poo poo this, because it is a galant effort by "Bozo the Wonder GM" to attract some hardcore fans.
However, it's a far cry from Shearer's Place at St. James'

Maybe with that new "Men's Playground" developement in Foxboro, they might put a sports bar in there. It'd be something to do before the parking lot opens for tailgating.

01.) That is just a wonderful, wonderful thing.
02.) Can we get Craig Tornberg talk to Bobby K about it? He knows how much we eat and drink. And drink. And drink. Just take a picture of one of the trashcans after a tailgate. "All this could have gone into your pocket, Mr. Kraft..."

I bet Guevara was excited for this...
Next to the apparel sale, was also the MetroGirls tryout for the 2006 season.

That's how they developed the wine list.

The pub will be season tickets before the game, and open to everyone after the game.
It's an idea that the Metros are trying to recapture an adult audience after ignoring them for years. It's the Giants Stadium 'stadium club' decked out in Metro/MLS colors/gear. There is only so much Metro can do as NJSEA and Aramark are really in control.
