...for season tickets.
I was told early March but I guess a day early isn't a big deal. According to the charge, the supporter's club is sitting in the 100's behind goal at the least (which I'm pretty sure we knew) but there wasn't a discount...they just charged the remaining $390. Is that right? Are we paying full price?

Wow, they didn't waste anytime. Hope you were prepared! $$$ :D

Funny you should say that. I had to transfer some money from savings because I wasn't expecting them to charge me yet.

I'm surprised they would do that without confirming your seats first. I mean...what if you had changed your mind about what seats you wanted or something?

That was my thought...they said the would call first, plus I thought there was going to be more negotiating for better price.

If a better price is negotiated then I would imagine that they'll just refund the difference.
But this way they have your money and they can invest it until they make a decision. With 100's of people with deposits and @390 a pop that's a nice chunk of change to put in the bank while you negotiate a deal. You might be able to offset the discount with the money made in the mean time at the ever rising interest rates.

Crap, I hope they don't just up and charge us for seats. Isn't $390 the discounted price on the 100s section? I thought it was $450 for that section?

It could be, if you count the $50 (and change?) deposit already made?

ford nailed it. It's $440 for the 100's and I already paid the $50 deposit hence the $390 charge. It's a good thing you aren't our finance officer ;)
And be prepared for them to up and charge you for seats. I got no warning except for the "We'll be charging the cards in early March" when the first called me for my preference. Might be worth calling them and asking for a heads up before they charge your card.

Hey I didn't think about the deposit thing. I only knew that the 100s was way more expensive than $350. :p
Yeah I told whoever told my cc information to call me. Mine is a check card as well, and I know I don't keep that much money in there.

Still no charge for me. How early on did you put down your deposit? Maybe they're going in order.

Yall's thread got me thinking, so I checked my card.
Mine was charged on Feb. 24th, last Friday...even before the event at Robertson.
I guess they're going through them by (time)priority.

D'oh! Amex stuck it in the "don't have to pay right away" section so I didn't see it. Got charged on the 27th. Check out the charge info!

I got a call from Brian today, asking if it was okay to charge.
I wonder because I still haven't heard anything from Sam or James about our section. I'll ask Brian tomorrow if he knows anything.
James, did you get 200 section?

Yep, $600 charge. I wasn't charged for the deposit because I took the form down to their offices.

$600? Did you get two tickets?
I noticed the info for the charge...it says HOUSTON 1836 and then has a 408 number which is San Jose. Thought that was funny.

Yeah I got two. I talked my business partner's Dad into going with me.

4 tickets: HOUSTON 1836(Dining and Entertainment) $1,000.00
(on top of the $200 deposit)
I have no idea where my seats are - I asked for supporter's group seats.
With a 4 day stay in NYC hitting the visa, as well as a little shopping...
Looks like this month's bill is pushing $4k.
Damn.
