Very big game, probably our most important of the season so far.

I've heard Pedersen is injured so that is a plus.

My team would be:
-------Robbo
Kelly-Dawson-King-Lee
Jenas-Carrick-Davids-Tainio
------Keane-Mido

I think we will need a midfield that can mix it up abit.

I hate Blackburn, they have the most horrible b@stards playing for them- Savage, Bellamy, Lucas Neill.

Lennon--Carrick---Davids---Jenas
---------Defoe----Mido

I'd play Lennon. I went to the Wigan game and he was the only guy posing any threat. Jenas will hopefully make a difference and Davids should be back to full fitness.

Defoe vs Keane is a tough one, especially as Keane looked more lively when he came on. But I'd play Defoe - he deserves to start a couple of games and it's wise to play him when he's started scoring again.

I hate Blackburn. They have no fans. They have some of the most annoying players in the history of the game - particularly Savage and Bellamy. They play crap football. And they have a moaning ex-ManU manager.

I would bloody love it if we beat them. And we need to.

Colm...if we win, you have to misspell every opposition team's name until we lose!:)

I like THFC's formation, but I think I agree with Joe about Defoe. I'd give Defoe a crack at it. Especially if we don't play Lennon as we'll need some kind of creativity on the field.

And for the love of God, stop playing every ball long to Mido!

2-0 to Spurs (I hope!)

Hopefully this break will have Davids at full fitness, and maybe Carrick getting some confidence after his England cap.

If Pederson is playing they always have a chance of getting a draw, but I have a feeling we'll beat them.

Thats a big plus for us. Hopefully he will miss the next 2 games after that as well and we'll see Rovers drop off a bit.

he might not play though. he missed the england u21 game because of illness but hopefully he'll be alright.
he's normally the only one who looks a threat when we play bad! he's the bollox. we've got to keep him, i'd hate to see him go to man u

I agree that these 2 players are the key. For all his talk in the papers, Davids has been way below his usual level recently. And when Carrick imposes himself in midfield, we usually win. So we'll see...

I hope and expect that Spurs beat them but...I'm a bit partial to Blackburn -- as a DC United fan I love Ryan Nelson. Friedel is a great netminder without a doubt and Jemal Johnson is a great future talent. The Prem is the best league in the world IMO and they aren't 5th by chance as same as we aren't 4th by chance. They play good football.

I hope and expect we beat them and get all three points but none the less I respect them and would like them to lose well to Spurs.

He doesn't want to score against his future team? That's sweet.

And yeah, I'd play Lennon and Defoe also.

Keane signs a new contract, captains and scores for Ireland and says he's over the moon -- put the lad in and watch him score a brace against Blackburn, then sub him out in the 60th and have Defoe knock a couple back -- 6-0 Spurs and yes its friday and I shouldn't be posting based on beer consumed at this point...

Even after today's favorable results, if we don't win this one and end up losing to Chelski, we could find ourselves 8th in the league... Time to step up!
COME ON YOU SPURS!
