Let's post our vacation plans and experiences.
Me(+wife+3 young kids) are off to Ireland for a week in April. I usually look forward to going back but once I get there, I cant wait to leave. you know, family stuff etc.
In July we're going to Jamaica, Ocho Rios to be more specific, should be a nice trip as long as my pasty white skin can withstand the caribbean sun.

Nothing big planned at the moment, having taken two trips to the east coast in the past six months, and two international trips in a year and a half. Right now thinking about a short California trip in the spring, and possibly Colorado at the same time.
Would like to travel to either central/eastern Europe or South America in the fall, but that's a long ways off.

jayro, 2 words mate, Effin Vegas! That shit is sofa king fun! Went to one there 2 years ago and still am recovering.
As for me, I still want to get a skiing trip in, but I don't know when that'll be. And with the consulting job coming up, I might be whisked away to such wonderful places like Minnesota or Boise, so who's gonna need a vacation after that!!!!...

The only places I've ever been for vacation are Myrtle Beach, Dollywood, and visiting relatives in Maryland, so you can all go to hell.

What's wrong with Myrtle Beach? I ask because I haven't been there, but have been considering a trip there with the wife in the next year or so...

I thought the problem was that it was too tacky and touristy. That's the main reason I've never been there either.

Achtung hit the nail on the head. Too touristy and too tacky. You would be much better off coming another hour or so south and go to Charleston.

That explains why my cousin does so well with the beach house he owns and rents out during the year.... :)
