Some of you already know this, but some may not. Anyways, CJ Brown's dad shops at the grocery store that I work at...and he is ALWAYs wearing his stupid Fire stuff (hats, shirts, jerseys...). My coach knows CJ, or grew up with his dad, or sumthin, I dunno, so last year at the All-Star game, I was able to meet CJ Brown. Well, of coarse, since we played the Fire on Wednesday, the enitre week before the game, every time I saw CJ's dad, I had to tease him how his son was coming to frankie's Fort, and how they were gonna lose, and so forth. We had a pretty big thing going. So then Wednesday rolls around, of coarse, WE WIN!!

So Thursday morning, I'm at work, and I was going to go get some bread for a customer, when sure as heck...who do I see? CJ's daddy...in all his Fire gear. Do you think I could actually let it go? OF COARSE NOT!!:) So we had a little talk about thegame the ngiht before and so forth. It was really funny, because as soon as he saw e, he got that look on his face, because he KNEW I was gonna rub it in so bad. It was great!

Good to see you back here. I was wondering if you had disappeared.

Most sports dads that I know or have met (at any level) tend to be really good natured about the ribbings they get. Nice to see that CJ's poppa is no exception.

Been EXTREMELy sick, and havn't been online much. Tryin to get things sorted out with my health...kinda a priority...ya know?;) Thanks for noticing I was gone though!

I saw him again today. I was walking in for the start of my day, as he was walking out with a basket full. He just looked at me, smiled, and while laughing said..."you guys lost yesterday...to KC, don't even start".
I sorta shurged it off with a smirk and told him to have a nice day.

Well, the dads may be nice when you rib them, but I was sitting two rows below David Kramer's dad (GK, Rapids) when we spanked them 4-0 about a month ago, and he did not look like a proud father that day, lemme tell you ;-) *wink*

I wouldn't be proud if I was Kramers dad either. :D
