The window closes and the speculation goes crazy.
1. "William Gallas is totally radged off playing at right-back, and hopes someone, he doesn't care who, just anyone, will make a £7m for him, thus activating a release clause in his Chelsea contract."
From the Grundian (Guardian, Manchester, UK)
Like Chelsea would sell Gallas for 7 million quid, they must be out of their fecking mind. I love the way they repeatedly publish this nonsense about a 7 million buy-out clause - it does NOT exist. I think its just sour grapes up in manc land that we have a better CD than they do, Gallas is far superior to Rio, and they know it, and we spent 20 million quid less on him.
2. "David Dunn, whose luxurious curly bouffant betrays the fact that he's the bastard lovechild of Mr Darcy from Pride and Prejudice and Brian 'Wooly' Woolnough, is on his way to Stamford Bridge!
And even better news for Chelsea. Jody Morris, the poor man's Dennis Wise (and there's damning with faint praise), is heading in the opposite direction to Blackburn."
From the Grundian (Guardian, Manchester, UK)
I wouldn't mind Dunn, but I'd keep Jody Morris, specially if we're going to be playing CL football.
